Bachelor in Paradise bachelor Logan Palmer has revealed that there was more to his connection with Kate Gallivan than what was shown on Season 8.

Logan said his connection with Kate "hit me like a comet" during a recent appearance on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast co-hosted by Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young.

"It came out of nowhere," Logan gushed to the two former The Bachelorette stars.

Logan was seemingly very invested in his relationship with The Bachelor villain Shanae Ankney, although she had been dating other guys to the point where her friend Genevieve Parisi dubbed her "the Bachelorette of Paradise."

But when Logan and Shanae were separated as part of the season's "The Split" twist, Logan fell hard and fast for Kate, and it only took one Paradise outing for the couple to determine they only wanted to date each other going forward.

"I know they only showed part of it, but there was a really impactful conversation where it actually started with her talking about her connections and almost asking me for advice," Logan recalled.

Kate -- who was getting to know Jacob Rapini -- apparently asked Logan how he was feeling given he had two women on the line: Shanae, whom he had been dating for weeks, and Sarah Hamrick, with whom he had gone on one date after "The Split" twist commenced.

"[And Kate asked], 'How do you deal with all of this? You know a couple of these people, what's your experience with them?'" Logan said.

The 26-year-old videographer from San Diego continued, "And it went from that -- almost a friendly advice conversation -- to, 'You know what? I feel really comfortable talking to you and I've never said this, but I have an attraction towards you.'"

Logan admitted Kate's honest and blunt disclosure at the time was "shocking" to him.

"My first reaction or my first response was, 'I feel that way, too.' And it was exciting but it was also frightening because I love Jacob to death," Logan admitted.

"That's one of my good buddies, and I would never want to put that friendship at risk."

Logan pointed out how Kate was also good friends with Sarah, whom Logan had kissed during their date a day or two beforehand.

"She understood, like, the impact that us pursuing each other would have, but she was still for it," Logan noted on the podcast.

"And I think that's what, like, was the most magnetizing for me, is she was like, 'We'll figure it out. We'll talk about how to go about it. We'll try to be respectful, but you're the person I want to be with. So I'm willing to walk through fire to get there for you.'"

Logan apparently appreciated and was attracted to Kate's assertiveness and decisiveness.

"And I was like, 'I'm with you! I'm here for it. I am 100 percent in.' Just because that kind of 'it's going to be hard but it's going to be worth it if we can be together' type of attitude -- that's kind of how I feel," Logan explained.

Logan shared how his own attitude on Bachelor in Paradise was "a do or die type of thing."

"It's like, 'Whatever, we'll figure it out along the way, but if it ends with us having a chance, then let's do it.' And that's kind of how she came at me, and it hit me hard. I liked it. I was here for it," Logan said.

After their first Paradise date, Logan was sold on Kate and chose to dump Shanae once she returned from "The Split" twist.

Logan told the cameras that his connection with Kate was "groundbreaking" and hit him "like a hurricane," and so he was determined to be loyal to her and take their relationship as far as it could go on the show, and maybe after it.

The Bachelorette alum Hayden Markowitz then arrived in Paradise and asked Kate out on a date, and because Logan didn't fight for her or formally ask her to be his girlfriend, Kate accepted the invitation, clearly feeling a little rejected and insulted.

Logan -- who had gone on three Paradise dates earlier in the season -- said he let Kate decide for herself because he didn't want to hold her back. He claimed that he wanted Kate to get the full Paradise experience and still want to be with him.

But Kate called Logan "completely asleep at the wheel" and said she desperately wanted to hear him say, "Hell no, please don't go."

However, Kate and Hayden didn't hit it off, and so it appears Kate is going to run back into Logan's arms in the next episode.
