Bachelor Pad eliminated one The Bachelorette bachelor and saw another pair of contestants quit during Monday night's second episode of the third season of The Bachelor reality franchise spinoff in which 15 former bachelor and bachelorettes and five "Super Fans" compete for a $250,000 cash prize.

Brittany Taltos and Erica Taltos, 22-year-old students from Gainesville, FL, who competed as a joint "Super Fan" -- someone who's been a fan of the show and was interested in competing with or against, and possibly dating, the former bachelors and bachelorettes -- quit Bachelor Pad after they couldn't stop arguing in the house and then Brittany gave Erica no choice but to leave since they were viewed as one contestant.

"Oh my God, this is sad. I never got to talk to [David Mallet]. I don't know. It just sucks," Erica T. said prior to leaving the mansion.

In addition, former fourth-season The Bachelorette bachelor Ryan Hoag, a 32-year-old high school dean and former NFL football player from Minneapolis, MN, was ousted from the game based on votes cast by Bachelor Pad's third-season cast. Ryan was eliminated after receiving the majority of female votes, while no women were sent home due to the twins' early departure.

"It's certainly heartbreaking to be sent home by people you confided in, you relied on, you trusted, and then they turn around and backstab you -- kick you while you're down. It definitely hurts. I certainly feel as though I was lied to by [Jamie Otis]," Ryan explained following his ouster.

"I really believe that she was onboard with having a partnership with me, and she absolutely went behind my back and it's a slap in the face. I came here to win $250,000 and I'm leaving with nothing. As a 32-year-old virgin, I'm always looking for love. So, I'm certainly disappointed that there was no love and no money."

Bachelor Pad's second third-season episode began with the remaining 15 former bachelor and bachelorettes and three "Super Fans" returning from the premiere broadcast's Rose Ceremony in which Chris "SWAT" Bain and Paige Vigil were eliminated.

Erica Rose, a 29-year-old law student from Houston, TX, who previously competed on The Bachelor's ninth season, said she dodged a bullet and planned to make "Super Fan" David, a 28-year-old real estate agent and MMA fighter from Hoboken, NJ, miserable.

David assumed the game was going to continue forward as newbies versus veterans based upon the recent events, but he was worried about the stability of his alliance considering the twins were fighting and crying all the time. Chris Bukowski, a 25-year-old corporate sales director from Chicago, IL, who previously competed on The Bachelorette's most recent eighth edition with Emily Maynard, called Brittany and Erica T. "absolute disasters."

The following day, Bachelor Pad host Chris Harrison told the cast they'd be participating in the season's second challenge and then explained the rules.

The male and female contestants were instructed to, in honor of the Summer Olympics, learn a rhythmic gymnastics routine in two hours from a professional choreographer and her two assistants and then perform it for a panel of judges -- which consisted of seventh-season The Bachelorette couple Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum and Olympic medalist Tasha Schwikert. The men were told they must dance in a group, while the women also had to perform together.   

The best male and female dancers would win the challenge, earn immunity roses and receive separate romantic dates away from the mansion. Each person would be able to choose three people to take with them on the dates, and there would be one additional rose up for grabs on each date. The two winners could offer whomever they wanted the rose, giving them immunity and the ability to stay in the competition another week.

In a twist similar to last week, the man and woman to perform the worst gymnastics routine would receive a penalty in the form of one vote against each of them heading into the next Rose Ceremony elimination.

After a hilarious and awkward competition, the judges selected Blakeley Shea, a 34-year-old aesthetician from Charlotte, NC, who previously competed on The Bachelor's sixteenth season, and Michael Stagliano -- a 27-year-old entrepreneur from Sherman Oaks, CA, who previously competed on The Bachelorette's fifth season and Bachelor Pad's second season, which he ultimately won with partner Holly Durst -- as the winners.

Erica R. and Ed Swiderski, a 33-year-old technology consultant from Chicago, IL, who previously competed on The Bachelorette's fifth season, were declared the worst performers of the day and therefore each received a vote against them.

After the competition, Michael told Erica he'd have her back again and save her, but he ended up admitting to cameras he wanted to find love and wasn't thinking strategy at all at that point.

The next day, it was time for Michael to embark on his date and he selected "Super Fan" Donna Zitelli, a 22-year-old student from Hackensack, NJ; Lindzi Cox, a 27-year-old development manager from Bellevue, WA, who previously competed on The Bachelor's sixteenth season; and Rachel Truehart, a 27-year-old executive assistant from New York, NY, who previously competed on The Bachelor's sixteenth season.

Erica was angry at Michael and annoyed because he went back on his word, however, Donna was thrilled about the opportunity because she had a huge crush on him ever since he had appeared on Jillian Harris' season of The Bachelorette. Donna was nervous but planned to do everything in her power to get Michael to like her.

The trio then watched a band perform live at the Marquis Theatre. Michael had fun dancing with Donna to the music, but when he danced with Rachel afterwards, he felt a different sensation. Michael thought dancing with Rachel was romantic and believed she looked "smoking hot" and had gorgeous eyes. The couple ended up kissing on the dance floor, and Rachel learned he was a "phenomenal kisser." She found a spark with Michael she had never seen coming.

Meanwhile, Ryan threw his partner Jamie, a 25-year-old registered nurse from New York, NY, who previously competed on The Bachelor's sixteenth season, a sweet little birthday party. While Jamie thought it was a nice gesture, she clearly had no interest in Ryan and still wanted Chris to become her partner.

Ryan told Jamie that Chris had every intention to stay partnered up with Blakeley, and it apparently blew Jamie's mind. Jamie didn't understand how Chris would prefer dating a VIP cocktail waitress when Jamie would be the right girl to take home to mom. But Chris wasn't taking his feelings into perspective at all. It was all about strategy and getting a rose in the end.

"Jamie, I asked her to be my partner but Blakeley won the challenge and I didn't, so keeping Blakeley happy right now is my best strategy. Jamie, I know she has a huge crush on me, so I need to keep Jamie close. I'm just trying to be smart about everything because the way it works is the girls vote off the guys and the guys vote off the girls, so it's very important for me to be in good-standing with all the girls in the house," Chris explained.

"Having Jamie being so into me right now, I can kind of manipulate her into kind of doing what I want. It's not typical of me to sweet-talk a girl if I don't mean it, but I'm here playing a game and this is part of the game."

During Michael's date, he made out with Donna in order to "fulfill a little fantasy" she had for awhile, but he felt a stronger connection with Rachel and therefore decided to give her the rose.

Back at the house, Chris told Jamie he didn't have feelings for Blakeley but him working with her was a strategic move, while he told Blakeley he had her back and only talked to Jamie to secure her vote. Chris didn't think it was that big of a deal to "sell himself a little bit." At the end of the night, Jamie caught Chris making out with Blakeley in the bottom bunk of the bed the girls were sharing. 

"I feel like at this point, Blakeley is confident in our partnership and I want to win, so it's smart for me to be partial to her right now. Obviously Blakeley has something for me. We just have to solidify the lines... if Blakeley's happy at the end, of the night, then that's good for me. I don't know how Jamie's going to react in the end but I feel like I can kind of steer her in the direction where I need her to be. I have nothing to worry about,' Chris said.

Jamie was devastated and cried when she caught Chris in the act. She thought it was very hurtful and that she just needed to move on.

The next day, Jamie was simply mad at the situation, and she didn't know whether Chris felt like a hostage in his relationship with Blakeley or actually had feelings invested into it. Chris said kissing Blakeley was "interesting" and he did it just to get a rose.

It then became time for Blakeley to enjoy her victory date and she asked Chris, David and Ed to join her. Blakeley chose David because she didn't want Chris to feel like he was the ring leader in the game and had all the power.

The trio went soap-box derby racing and got to decorate their own little vehicles. Chris told Blakeley he didn't want her to give David her rose although Blakeley wanted to. Afterward, Chris told the cameras "somebody might die" if Blakeley did decide to offer her rose to David because she felt sorry for him. While Erica R. believed David was a big threat in the game because he was both strategic and athletic, Chris still didn't understand how he was still on the show.

Chris worried David was going to find a way to tap into Blakeley's emotional side and get the rose. And that was exactly what David tried to do. David pulled Blakeley aside and told her he'd do whatever she wanted from there on out if she gave him the rose, and he reminded her that she had been in a similar position when she was the outcast during Ben Flajnik's The Bachelor season. Dave said he felt alone in the Bachelor Pad mansion and knew he was simply on "borrowed time."

Chris feared Blakeley's decision and said his relationship with her was a nightmare, knowing that if he didn't get the rose, his strategy would be flushed down the toilet. 

Despite David's plea and heartfelt story, Blakeley gave Chris her rose. Chris felt like he was "batting 1,000," while Blakeley wanted Chris to know she was committed to their partnership and wanted to make it to the end with him. David was very bummed out and didn't want to go home.

Later that night, the contestants partied pretty hard outside by the pool. Lindzi admitted she had a crush on Kalon McMahon, a 27-year-old luxury brand consultant from Houston, TX, who previously competed on The Bachelorette's most recent eighth season. David was hooking up with Erica T., Michael and Rachel continued spending time together, and Blakeley and Chris were also at each other's sides.

Ed and Sarah Newlon, a 28-year-old bar manager from St. Louis, MO, who previously competed on The Bachelor's eleventh season, also ended up hooking up.

Following the festivities, it was clear to mostly all of the contestants that Erica T. and Brittany were on the chopping block. Nick noted it was going to be a unanimous vote amongst the guys, and he and Tony Pieper, a 30-year-old lumber trader from Portland, OR, who previously competed on The Bachelorette's most recent eighth season, thought the twins were a "train wreck."

The twins cried and bickered throughout all hours of the night, leading up to the moment when Brittany announced she was leaving and going home despite Erica T. begging her to stay and work things out between them. Erica T. was forming a relationship with David and wasn't ready to end it, but Brittany just wasn't going to let her sister have it her way. 

The next morning, the twins quit the show and all of the remaining contestants, besides David, were thankful and relieved. With the twins gone, Dave was pretty sure he was the next to go considering his "Super Fan" numbers were dwindling.

Chris Harrison then entered the mansion and told the ladies they were all safe, but one guy was still going home. The voting then commenced.

In David's defense, Kalon hoped the girls would re-consider voting David off and look to get rid of someone else. Because Kalon was hitting it off with Lindzi and she was apparently an influential popular figure in the house, Kalon asked her if she would round up some troops to vote off Ryan instead.

Kalon claimed Ryan was a bigger threat in the game, while David was simply a nice guy and deserved to stay awhile longer. Lindzi listened to Kalon's idea and then campaigned to eliminate Ryan. Rachel, Blakeley and Jaclyn Swartz, a 27-year-old account manager from Newton, MA, who previously competed on The Bachelor's sixteenth season, were all onboard with the plan.

Meanwhile, Reid Rosenthal, a 33-year-old realtor from Philadelphia, PA, who previously competed on The Bachelorette's fifth season, was seeking revenge on Ed for taking Jillian Harris away from him and tried to convince Sarah, Donna, Erica R., and Jamie to vote for him since he already had one vote going against him from the prior challenge.

Reid made the girls believe that Chris and Ed were trying to run the show, and the girls seemed to believe his claims. Sarah then admitted to Ed she had voted for him although the pair had previously hooked up. Sarah eventually felt really guilty for listening to others and not following her heart.

In the end, Jamie was the swing vote and had to determine which side she wanted to align with and trust. She decided to side with Rachel, Blakeley, Jaclyn, and Lindzi and vote off Ryan. Their votes were enough to trump those that came from Sarah, Donna and Erica R. for Ed.
