Clayton's journey to find love got off to a rough start considering Salley Carson, whom Clayton immediately felt a connection with, quit the show five hours before she would've had her limo entrance.

Salley was previously engaged and supposed to get married to her ex that very weekend, so she realized she was still heartbroken and not in the correct mindset to begin dating a new guy.

Following Salley's premature departure, Claire Heilig determined at the first cocktail party of the season that she "hated" Clayton and felt no spark with him. She told the other ladies how she'd never date "America's Sweetheart" and Clayton wasn't her type.

Claire and Clayton therefore agreed she shouldn't stay and continue competing for his heart.

In addition, Samantha Jefferies quit the show ahead of the first Rose Ceremony, even though her self-elimination did not air on the premiere episode, according to Entertainment Tonight.

However, Clayton started to build relationships with many women who were very interested in him.

Clayton gave his First Impression Rose to Teddi Wright, a 24-year-old surgical unit nurse from Highland, CA, and the couple shared a sweet kiss.

And Clayton also kissed Cassidy Timbrooks, a 26-year-old executive assistant from Los Angeles, CA; Kira Mengistu, a 32-year-old physician from Philadelphia, PA; Eliza Isichei, a 25-year-old marketing manager from Berlin, Germany; and Rachel Recchia, a 25-year-old flight instructor from Clermont, FL.

By the end of the first Rose Ceremony, 22 women remained on the show including Elizabeth Corrigan, a 32-year-old real estate advisor AXcfrom Highlands Ranch, CO; Ency Abedin, a 26-year-old sales manager from Burbank, CA; Gabby Windey, a 30-year-old ICU nurse from Denver, CO; Genevieve Parisi, a 26-year-old bartender from Los Angeles, CA; and Hunter Haag, a 28-year-old human resources specialist from Charlotte, NC.

Jill Chin, a 26-year-old architectural historian from Scituate, RI, is also still in the running for Clayton's heart as well as Kate Gallivan, a 32-year-old real estate agent from Lake Hollywood, CA; Lyndsey Windham, a 28-year-old industrial sales representative from Houston, TX; Mara Agreat, a 32-year-old entrepreneur from Collingswood, NJ; and Marlena Wesh, a 30-year-old former Olympian from Virginia Beach, VA.

Melina Nasab, a 27-year-old personal trainer from West Hollywood, CA, also got a rose, and she was joined by Sarah Hamrick, a 23-year-old wealth management advisor from New York City, NY; Serene Russell, a 26-year-old elementary school teacher from Oklahoma City, OH; and Shanae Ankey, a 29-year-old recruiter from Sycamore, OH.

The following bachelorettes will also appear in Episode 2: Sierra Jackson, a 26-year-old yoga instructor from Dallas, TX; Susie Evans, a 28-year-old wedding videographer from Virginia Beach, VA; and Tessa Tookes, a 26-year-old human resources specialist from Stamford, CT.

The Bachelor spoilers for Season 26 reveal Clayton's one-on-one and group dates, Rose Ceremony decisions, major storylines, and eliminations leading up Clayton choosing his Final 3 women, as recently reported by Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone.

"[But] there are a couple group dates missing and not every group date rose is accounted for," Carbone wrote on December 16, 2021.

So what happens on Clayton's The Bachelor season?! Which bachelorettes go the distance, who causes drama, and which women don't last very long? Keep reading for all the spoilers that are currently out there!

Clayton has confirmed he found love on his season

When Clayton appeared on Good Morning America to discuss his experience as the franchise's leading man in late November 2021, he made a pretty big announcement.

"I did find love," Clayton confirmed at the time.

"And I was a little skeptical going into the whole journey, but I'm so pleasantly surprised that things worked out much different than what I had thought."

Clayton added, "And I'm so excited to watch it back and have everyone else watch it as well."

Just because Clayton found love on the show, however, that doesn't mean he left The Bachelor in a healthy relationship or engaged.

After all, many former The Bachelor and The Bachelorette stars fell in love with more than one person on their respective seasons.

The Bachelor Season 26, Final 18 Spoilers

Clayton's first week of dates took place in Los Angeles, CA, when he was in the process of trying to narrow down his dating pool even further.

On the season's first group date, celebrity guest Hilary Duff enlisted the help of Clayton's bachelorettes to throw a dream Beverly Hills birthday party for kids.

"But when one woman is more interested in spending time with Clayton than the kids, the others have strong feelings to share," according to ABC.

Carbone reported that Cassidy received the group-date rose.

Clayton proceeded to enjoy a one-on-one date with Susie in which the pair rode in a helicopter and jumped off a yacht.

The pair also enjoyed a surprise musical performance by Amanda Jordan, and Susie ended up receiving a rose.

The second group date, hosted by Ziwe, was an obstacle course, and apparently Sarah won it.

At the group-date afterparty, Shanae began having issues with people in the house and stopped getting along with Elizabeth. The pair reportedly had an argument.

"I believe Sarah got the group date rose as well," Carbone reported.

After the three dates ended, ABC revealed that "a major storm" began to brew heading into the second cocktail party of the season.

"A shocking secret about a woman who already has a rose is revealed. Will Clayton be forced to do something that no other Bachelor has ever done before?" ABC teased.

Based on a promo for the new The Bachelor season, Clayton considered taking a rose back from a woman.

"Question for you: Has anyone ever taken a rose back before?" Clayton asked The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer in the preview.

Clayton shared with Us Weekly of the controversial idea in December 2021, "I will just say obviously I said that because the thought crossed my mind. Now whether or not I acted upon it, that's what everyone is going to have to wait and see."

"But there are many moments throughout the journey where I was shocked and I was just kind of, yeah, asking Jesse sometimes these questions, like, 'Is this something that I can do? Because this is how I feel.'"

Clayton elaborated, "I was just navigating my love journey the way that I felt was right."

According to Carbone, Clayton wanted to snatch Cassidy's rose back.

On November 19, Carbone tweeted, "There is a woman this season who was texting a guy in the hotel pre-show before she got her phone taken away. This becomes a storyline on the show."

Carbone reported weeks later on December 6 that the situation resulted in Clayton sending Cassidy home.

Carbone explained that at the cocktail party preceding the second Rose Ceremony, it's discovered -- presumably because Cassidy had told someone who then spread the news around -- that Cassidy was still texting a guy while she was in quarantine before her phone was taken away by production.

The news reportedly made its way back to Clayton, who then decided to take away Cassidy's group-date rose from earlier in the week and eliminate her from the competition.

Clayton then reportedly ousted Ency, Kate, and Tessa at the second Rose Ceremony of Season 26.

In another week of dates in Los Angeles, Clayton asked Sarah to accompany him on a solo date that took place downtown.

The couple reportedly took on "a bunch of challenges" together and then Sarah earned herself a rose.

For the group date, the women dressed in red one-piece bathing suits and participated in a Baywatch-themed competition, which required the bachelorettes to go head to head in beach challenges.

According to Carbone, Gabby won the challenges and received extra time with Clayton at the end of the date. Clayton then gave Gabby a rose.

That evening, Shanae and Elizabeth's feud reportedly continued and then Shanae isolated herself from most of the cast.

At the third Rose Ceremony, Clayton reportedly ousted Elizabeth, Kira, and Melina.

The Bachelor Final 12 spoilers

Clayton and his bachelorettes traveled to Houston, TX, for the next round of dates.

Clayton embarked on a one-on-one date with Rachel that was inspired by a "small town in Texas." Rachel ended up with a rose.

Then, as probably expected, the girls competed in a tackle football game at NRG Stadium, honoring Clayton's history as a former professional football player.

There were seven players against six, and the team of seven reportedly won the game.

Shanae, who was on the losing team, reportedly crashed the afterparty and broke the winning team's trophy.

The next one-on-one date belonged to Serene Russell, who went to Galvestion Pleasure Pier with Clayton, who won some big teddy-bear prizes.

After Serene accepted a rose from Clayton, Clayton ousted three women at the fourth Rose Ceremony of the season: Jill, Sierra, and Lyndsey W.

Clayton's Final 12 bachelorettes were Eliza, Gabby, Genevieve, Hunter, Marlena, Mara, Rachel, Sarah, Serene, Shanae, Susie, and Teddi.

The Bachelor Final 9 spoilers

The next stop on Clayton's journey to find love was Toronto, Canada.

Although the pair had spent time together in Texas, Gabby was invited on a one-on-one date.

The couple took a helicopter ride and ended up walking in a park and sitting on a park bench. Gabby got the rose at the end of her date.

The group date in Toronto featured nine women roasting each other on a date hosted by Canadian comedian Russell Peters at Archeo restaurant. Shanae, who emerged as the villain of Clayton's season, was reportedly an easy target.

The highly-anticipated two-on-one date took place in Toronto with Genevieve and Shanae.

Photos of Clayton and the women had been taken at Queen Victoria Park when the show was filming, and the trio also took a ride on the Maid of the Mist to Dufferin Island Park.

Shanae was sent home on the date.

And at the fifth Rose Ceremony, Clayton ousted Hunter and Marlena, according to Carbone.

Clayton's Final 9 bachelorettes were Eliza, Gabby, Genevieve, Mara, Rachel, Sarah, Serene, Susie, and Teddi.

The Bachelor Final 7 Spoilers

After traveling to Hvar, Croatia, Clayton asked out Teddi for a solo date, and she received a rose by the end of it.

Carbone provided no details on the group date this week, but he believes Sarah received the other one-on-one date with Clayton.

The sixth Rose Ceremony then featured Clayton rejecting Eliza and Mara Agreat.

Clayton's Final 7 bachelorettes were therefore Gabby, Genevieve, Rachel, Sarah, Serene, Susie, and Teddi.

The Bachelor Final 4 Spoilers

Clayton and his Final 4 bachelorettes flew to Vienna, Austria before the women's round of hometown dates.

"I don't know if this was a 'if you get a rose on your date, you advance,' or if they just had dates and had a Rose Ceremony at the end," Carbone wrote in his blog on December 16.

"All I know is the end result of who the 4 remaining women were once they left Vienna."

Clayton took Serene to Hofsburg Palace on a one-on-one date, and then Susie received the special "Pretty Woman" date.

Susie, wearing a long red dress, received a rose from Clayton at the end of their one-on-one.

According to Carbone, Genevieve was sent home at some point during the week without going on a date.

"I don't know who approached who first, but it was established that Genevieve and Clayton just weren't a match and didn't see it long term," Carbone claimed, "so he either sent her home or she left. Not sure how it'll be shown."

Carbone is unsure of whether there was a third one-on-one date in Vienna to go along with a group date.

Following Genevieve's surprising ouster, Clayton eliminated Sarah and Teddi at the seventh Rose Ceremony of the season.

Clayton's Final 4 bachelorettes were Gabby, Rachel, Serene, and Susie.

Clayton apparently falls in love with three women

Clayton had no trouble finding love on The Bachelor. In fact, the process apparently worked a little too well for him.

During The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All episode that aired in early December 2021, a trailer aired that featured Clayton admitting, "I didn't believe it could happen, but I am in love with three women."

Clayton proceeds to tell one woman, "I couldn't be more sure that I'm falling in love with you," before telling a second bachelorette, "I'm falling in love with you."

And Clayton shares with a third woman, "I am in love with you."

A mystery woman subsequently laments in tears, "He's in love with all three of us?!"

The Bachelor Final 3 Spoilers

In order to choose his Final 3 bachelorettes, Clayton met his Final 4 ladies' families in their respective hometowns.

Susie's hometown date in Virginia Beach, VA, filmed on November 2, Rachel's hometown date took place in Orlando, FL, on November 4, Serene's hometown date taped in Oklahoma City, OK, on November 6, and Gabby introduced Clayton to her loved ones in Denver, CO, on November 8.

The Rose Ceremony reportedly occurred on November 9 and ended with Serene being denied a rose.

"One thing I'd heard since hometowns was that Serene was eliminated at #4, and judging by the previews [on December 6], it was all but confirmed," Carbone wrote last month.

Clayton's Final 3 women as a result were Susie, Gabby, and Rachel.

All three ladies reportedly made it to Iceland for overnight Fantasy Suite dates as well as the Final Rose Ceremony.

Clayton has sex with at least two of his bachelorettes

During the trailer that aired during The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All for Michelle Young's season, Clayton is shown standing in front of two ladies -- either his Final 2 bachelorettes or two of his Final 3 women.

Clayton appears to be leading a Rose Ceremony following his round of overnight Fantasy Suite dates.

"I just want you to know that what I'm about to say is not going to be easy to hear," Clayton announces to two ladies.

"I want to be fully, fully transparent, and I know it's not easy to hear, but I was intimate with both of you."

A brunette woman cries, "I'm done," while walking away from The Bachelor star and then falling to her knees.

"What the actual f-ck?!" the brunette complains.

The drama apparently leaves Clayton feeling "so broken" as he stares at a diamond engagement ring, seemingly unsure of whom to give it to.

Carbone said he doesn't know how the elimination went that determined Clayton's Final 2 bachelorettes.

"I don't know yet. What we do know is that Clayton found love this season... so whatever drama they want you to believe ensued from that conversation of saying he was intimate with 'both of you' obviously didn't derail anything," Carbone wrote in his blog on December 7.

Clayton reportedly gets intimate with both Rachel and Gabby

The blonde woman in the trailer that aired during The Men Tell All was reportedly Rachel.

And while the brunette woman crying was Sarah, Carbone reported that Sarah did not make it to Iceland, where the final dates were filmed.

"It was sent to me numerous times... that the venue Clayton is standing in is in Iceland (where we know the overnights and final Rose Ceremony are) and that the two women whose backs are two us (and he's seemingly telling he was intimate with both) are Rachel and Gabby, two women we know had hometown dates," Carbone reported in his blog.

"The shot of Sarah crying was squeezed in from another point in filming since we know Sarah didn't make it to Iceland."

The Bachelor fans are therefore assuming Gabby and Rachel finished as Clayton's Final 2 bachelorettes; however, Carbone is not convinced that's the case.

"Certainly looks that way, but with the way the editing works and how tricky they can get sometimes, the only thing we know for sure is that whole scene happens in Iceland," Carbone explained.

"Saying they're the Final 2 because that's the only two you see there with their backs to us, I don't know yet. Maybe it is and the show just gave away their Final 2."

Carbone noted, however, that he'd like to think producers are "smarter" than just giving away Clayton's Final 2 bachelorettes in a pre-season trailer.

Clayton's winning bachelorette pick has yet to be reported

There is no spoiler out there yet revealing Clayton's winner and whether he got engaged at the Final Rose Ceremony.

"I don't know the ending yet," Carbone wrote in his blog on December 16, 2021, adding that Clayton is "most likely engaged."

RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELORETTE' COUPLES NOW: WHOM DID 'THE BACHELORETTE' STARS AND THEIR BACHELOR PICKS ULTIMATELY END UP WITH?! (PHOTOS)

However, Carbone is sure Clayton ended up with one of his Final 3 bachelorettes -- Gabby, Susie, or Rachel -- and the contestants have been instructed not to say a word about the show's ending or post anything on social media that could give it away.

"I've heard rumblings about all three since filming ended," Carbone reported.

He added, "I'm leaning towards one person based on info told to me, but again, until I get the confirmation I need, there's no need to tell people what I'm 'hearing.'"

But Carbone assured his readers, "When I'm confident I know who he picked, I'll let you know."

Although Clayton never revealed whether he's currently in a happy relationship or engaged, he did tell Us Weekly that he left The Bachelor with zero regrets.

"I definitely was not perfect. I did some things wrong," Clayton told Us.

But that doesn't mean Clayton has a desire to rewrite history or take any of his decisions back.

"I think for me, I realized that I can't say that I have any regrets because if I would've done things differently, would it have been my 100 percent authentic journey? And I think the answer to that is no," Clayton explained.

"So what I did and every moment while I was there was what I thought was right. Does that mean it was right? Probably not, no."

Clayton said while he's an imperfect human and made some wrong moves, "I did everything under my volition and what I thought was best."

"And so for that, I'm like, 'You know what? You stayed true to yourself, and you developed some battle scars along the way, but that's just what life is,'" he said.
