The Bachelorette bachelor Ben Flajnik is apparently unsure whether he would accept the opportunity to become the next The Bachelor star.

"The show actually opened me up to realizing that I was kind of reserved and emotionally unavailable and after going through it and talking about what I kept bottled up, I'm more ready now than I was with Ashley. If I were to do the next Bachelor... it's a lot to ponder," Flajnik, a 28-year-old winemaker from Sonoma, CA, said during a Friday interview with the San Francisco Chronicle.
"We would shoot during harvest time. We've just hired on another friend at the winery. We'll see. Now, I commute three days a week from San Francisco to Sonoma. San Francisco is my favorite place on the planet. I love it with every ounce of my heart. My Twitter description is: winemaker-failed proposer-future mayor of SF."
Flajnik -- who was rejected at the end of The Bachelorette's August 2 finale when The Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert selected and presented her final rose to fellow suitor J.P. Rosenbaum instead -- said it has taken time to get over his broken heart.
"The [filming for the] show ended in May, so things are fine. Time heals all wounds, as they say. I've surrounded myself with good friends and thrown myself back into my work. I'm busy. No complaints," Flajnik explained.

While the former seventh-season The Bachelorette bachelor has seemingly moved on, he acknowledged he was truly in love with Hebert.
"I won't deny the feelings I had for Ashley," Flajnik added.
"The cameras disappear for periods, and there are no other distractions that you have. You are able to focus on one thing, and that is the relationship, and that's all you have to do. So ultimately, you're going to get there faster."
