While Trista Sutter had some serious medical complications during her first pregnancy, The Bachelorette first-season star still has another baby on the brain.

"We've started trying!" said Trista in Us Weekly's January 28 issue about attempting to become pregnant with her second child with husband Ryan. "We wanted to wait for a while because I was really sick during my first pregnancy."
Several months into her pregnancy, Trista was diagnosed with HELLP (hemolysis, elevated liver enzyme levels and a low pallet count) syndrome, a complication of preeclampsia that attacks the mother's vital organs. Due to the diagnosis, Trista delivered the couple's first child -- Maxwell Alston -- four-weeks early via a C-section last July.
"I'd love to have babies close in age," Trista told Us. "And it took us so long [to get pregnant] the first time that if it takes us two years, then that will be fine. I'd love to have a girl. I'm a girlie-girl and would love to take a little girl shopping!"
In the more than five months since welcoming Max into the world, Trista told Us she's lost all 30 of her pregnancy pounds, which has helped her confidence and her relationship with Ryan, whom she met during ABC's Winter 2003 broadcast of The Bachelorette's first season.

"I feel a lot more fit and healthy," she told Us. "And I think that's playing a part in our relationship."
Ryan said he's "just happy to see her happy with herself," but also acknowledged his wife is back to turning heads.
"She looks the best she ever has," he told Us. "A lot of people have been surprised to learn that Max is only 5-months-old, and she looks so great."
In addition to looking great and "feeling more energetic and alive and less self-conscious," Trista said staying in shape is also benefiting the newest member of the Sutter clan.
"Having a fit lifestyle is giving me the energy I need to keep up with Max," she told Us.
