The Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert says her reaction to bachelor Constantine Tzortzis' decision to quit the competition for her heart was not one of sadness but of worry that her final two remaining suitors -- J.P. Rosenbaum or Ben Flajnik -- may have also not been falling in love with her.

While Hebert admitted she was ready to give Tzortzis more time to build a strong connection with her on their one-on-one date, she said his decision to give up trying and leave the competition during Monday night's episode left her anything but stunned.
"Our conversation at dinner quickly touched upon both of our concerns, and though I was willing to use every last minute to see if time was what we needed, Constantine didn't surprise me by saying goodbye," Hebert said.
Hebert said although she and the 30-year-old restaurant owner from Atlanta, GA had a wonderful hometown date, she soon came to realize she was fighting for a romantic chemistry that had never really existed between them.
"After such a great hometown date, I was excited to see Constantine again. Our relationship moved a lot slower than I wanted, and this was a critical time for us. We needed to use this date to figure things out. Throughout most of the date, I felt a huge disconnect with him. I quickly realized I was holding out and looking for a romance between us that will never be there. I wanted to use the rest of our date to see if things would be different," she wrote.
In addition, Ashley also said she knew she had lacked passion for previously eliminated bachelor Ryan Park -- who flew to Fiji in the hopes Hebert would allow him to return to the show and spend more time with her -- but understood why the 31-year-old solar energy executive from Corona Del Mar, CA would have unresolved feelings for her.
"I have to say that Ryan's return was a huge surprise, but I certainly understood why he felt the need to come back. When I said goodbye to Ryan, I felt uncertain about my decision and I think he sensed that. I can see how it just didn't make sense because I never really voiced any true concerns with him. So much was going through my mind at this point that I knew I would have to take some time and think about his return," Hebert explained.
Hebert's feelings about Park didn't change despite his plea for another shot, but The Bachelorette star said she found letting him go was just as difficult as the first time around in Taiwan -- and even harder than saying goodbye to Tzortzis.
"Once I was able to spend time with each of the remaining guys, I knew that I had found what I was looking for within them. So, once again I had to say goodbye to Ryan. Saying goodbye a second time was not much different than the first. It broke my heart," she added.
