Although Barbara has received her fair share of criticism for calling out Madison and trying to control her son's life, she told Life & Style, "There's nothing for me to apologize for."
Barbara reportedly added she will "absolutely not" say sorry to Madison, whom Peter confessed he was still in love with after dumping fiancee Hannah Ann Sluss.
Barbara apparently feels Madison is the one who owes an apology -- or two -- and she is "disappointed."
"She never ever mentioned how sorry she was to Hannah Ann for what had happened," Barbara said, adding that Madison expressing zero remorse to Hannah Ann is "very telling" of who she is as a person.
"You know, Hannah Ann was hurt, of course, but she never even apologized to her. So, [there are] two people that, I guess, unfortunately, need apologies."
On The Bachelor this season, Peter proposed marriage to Hannah Ann at the Final Rose Ceremony only after Madison decided to quit the show because she and Peter didn't seem compatible in significant ways.
Once Madison got wind Peter had called off his engagement and was single again, she went after the pilot and decided they should give their relationship another chance, much to the dismay of Peter's family.
"Everyone thinks it's just me... but it wasn't just me. It's the whole family," Barbara told Life & Style.
"It's not that we did not like Madison. My answer to that is, 'I don't know Madison'... I don't know her well enough to form an opinion on such."

When Barbara put Madison on blast during the The Bachelor's live finale on Tuesday night, Barbara alleged of the religious bachelorette, "She didn't want to meet us," in Australia.
"So we were there three hours. We had just come across the country -- or excuse me, across the world -- and we were exhausted and we were just getting used to the time there. And we had to wait three hours," Barbara claimed.
"When she did come in, the whole family, we didn't get an apology from her, and when I proceeded to ask her if she was madly in love with my son, she said, 'No,' and that she would not accept a proposal in four days."
Barbara went on to say, "So how do you expect a mother who loves her son with all of her heart to take that? I couldn't. My whole family... [Peter] didn't see that. And as a mother, that wasn't what we were expecting... We did not have a connection with Madison."
Barbara then announced her son was "going to have to fail to succeed."
"Everyone that knows him knows it's not going to work," Barbara said of Peter's relationship with the 23-year-old foster parent recruiter.
Unfortunately for Peter, Barbara was totally right.
Peter and Madison announced they've mutually decided to part ways via Instagram on Thursday, just two short days after the live finale aired on ABC, so Barbara can breathe easy now that her son is single again.
