90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days featured Kim Menzies and Usman "SojaBoy" Umar deciding to be exclusive and having sex for the first time, Ben meeting Mahogany for the first time, Ximena acting distant from Mike once he returned to America, Hamza thinking he and Memphis were rushing into marriage, Jasmine forgiving Gino and taking him back, and Ella losing patience with Johnny during the fifth-season episode Sunday night on TLC.

90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' new season stars Usman, a 32-year-old from Sokoto, Nigeria, and Kim, a 50-year-old from San Diego, CA; Gino, a 51-year-old from Canton, MI, and Jasmine, a 34-year-old from Panama City, Panama; and Memphis, a 34-year-old from Muskegon, MI, and Hamza, a 28-year-old from Kairouan, Tunisia.

The series also stars Mike, a 34-year-old from Thiells, NY, and Ximena, a 24-year-old from Pereira, Colombia; Ella, a 29-year-old from Idaho Falls, ID, and Johnny, a 34-year-old from Jinan, China; Ben, a 52-year-old from Fraser, MI, and Mahogany, a 24-year-old from San Bartolo, Peru; and Caleb, a 28-year-old from Chandler, AZ, and Alina, a 27-year-old from Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Usman was previously married to Lisa Hamme, 54, whom he had met on Facebook two years before filming 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' fourth season.

Lisa struggled to trust Usman during their relationship and they split in May 2020. Usman later served Lisa with divorce papers in December 2020 and Lisa has since remarried with a childhood friend.

90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days will follow long-distance relationships and document how each couple found each other as well as their first in-person meeting in a foreign country "and the countless surprises, drama and culture clashes along the way."

In most 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days cases, lovebirds are hoping to get engaged and begin the K-1 Visa process.

After traveling across the world, the couples will determine if love can conquer all as they experience challenges such as language barriers, interfering families, cultural differences, age gaps, ex partners, and "shady pasts," according to TLC.

Below is what happened on the tenth episode of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' fifth season:

KIM and USMAN

Tension between Kim and Usman was "really thick" in Zanzibar, according to Kim, after they slept in the same hotel room but weren't intimate with each other.

Kim admitted she was really "frustrated" by Usman's lack of affection, given he hadn't even kissed her yet, and she noted how she felt like their relationship was "on ice."

Kim said she was scared to lose her connection with Usman because she loved him and had opened her heart up to him.

Kim told Usman that it was "selfish" of him not to kiss her and having sex is part of being in a relationship. Since the pair was not in an official relationship, Usman asked, "What's the point?"

Kim threatened Usman, saying that if she left single, their romance would be over and she'd start dating other men back in the United States.

Kim didn't want to just be Usman's friend, but she also didn't want to have to beg a man to be with her and sleep with her.

"So no more friendship?" Usman asked.

"No, we'd be done," Kim replied.

Usman promised that he would respect Kim's son, and she hoped he meant that because her son Jamal meant the world to her.

Usman agreed to speak with Jamal to make Kim happy, and he assured her, "You got me."

"No, I don't got you," Kim argued.

"Okay, we're having sex tonight," Usman confirmed.

Kim smiled from ear to ear and gave Usman's a high five. Usman acknowledged how he didn't want the drama of them not having sex to be the end of them and so he'd be willing to give it a try -- "the African way," he joked.

Kim suddenly became excited and nervous, but she wondered if Usman would want to be her boyfriend after the sexual encounter -- if he was "testing out the goods" before buying them.

She just hoped for the best, regardless, and looked forward to that evening.

That evening, Usman Skyped with Kim's son Jamal, who said he didn't trust Usman.

Jamal didn't want to see his mother get hurt, but Usman shared how Kim was loyal and she didn't get jealous. Usman alluded to the fact that Kim is special, but Jamal said Usman described Kim "like an assistant" rather than a girlfriend.

"I'm not going to hurt her," Usman insisted.

Jamal said Kim's relationship didn't seem ideal but whatever made Kim happy would make him happy. Jamal also appreciated the video-chat call.

Usman planned to blow Kim away, and she joked, "Where have you been for eight days?!"

Before the pair had sex, Usman said, "I now pronounce you boyfriend and girlfriend... That's why we're having sex tonight.:

Kim seemed overjoyed, and Usman pointed out how she could call him "baby" instead of "potential" going forward. He kept repeating how Kim was going to experience sex "the African way" for the first time.

Usman said he wanted Kim to be his girlfriend because she's loyal, supportive, patient, and he felt "real love" with her. He intended to call her "Queen Kimberly" from that point on.

"I'm SojaBoy's girlfriend. That's so crazy!" Kim gushed.

MEMPHIS and HAMZA

Hamza was shown picking out his wedding attire in Tunisia with his mother's help. Only one week remained until his wedding.

Hamza, however, was still feeling a little uneasy about the prenuptial agreement Memphis wanted him to sign. Hamza worried it was an indicator that Memphis didn't trust him or anticipated their eventual separation.

Hamza also didn't like how Memphis allegedly made a big deal out of "petty problems" and exaggerated their issues.

Hamza's mother, Hayet, feared Memphis, who already yelled at her partner, would only get worse. She definitely had her reservations about Memphis and wanted to see her son happy and fulfilled in a marriage.

Hayet also didn't appreciate Memphis' request for a prenup, saying a husband and wife should trust each other.

Hayet didn't want to see her son get a divorce someday considering her own marriage failed and it apparently brought her great pain.

Hayet asked her son, "Are you sure about [the wedding]? Why are you in a hurry?"

Meanwhile, Memphis was nervous about whether Hamza was going to come through for her and be the man she needed. Since Hamza had lied about his age, she was also concerned about his career and their future together.

Memphis felt the need to protect herself, but she didn't think Hamza was hiding anything else.

"The only thing I didn't tell him is that when we were talking in the beginning, I spent the night at my ex-husband's house. I didn't tell him that, but I didn't think it was a need-to-know thing because nothing happened," Memphis shared.

Memphis said she and her ex hadn't engaged in any sexual relations since their divorce.

Memphis knew she needed to come clean if she expected 100 percent transparency from Hamza, but she was afraid he wouldn't understand how close she is with her ex since they co-parent a child together due to Hamza's culture.

Later that day, Memphis told Hamza about the night she had spent with her ex in the summer.

Hamza then admitted he thought they had rushed into the marriage decision, which Memphis disagreed with. Memphis appeared furious, in fact.

JASMINE and GINO

Jasmine said she never saw this coming, the fact Gino had texted his ex-girlfriend naked photos of Jasmine.

She never thought Gino would do something like that to her, and most of all, she couldn't believe Gino had such a bad attitude with her after she had discovered "all of his lies."

Jasmine called Gino "trash" and said she felt "super disappointed," and so she moved into another room at their swanky island resort.

"I feel like a clown, a joke to him, and he doesn't deserve me," Jasmine noted.

Jasmine decided to enjoy the vacation by herself, and she wished she could erase Gino and this "nightmare" from her memory.

Jasmine believed Gino was still in love with his ex since he wanted to make her jealous by sharing Jasmine's naked photos. Jasmine cried alone on a beach and complained about how Gino had pretended to be sweet, kind and hardworking.

"That person is a ghost... That person is just in my dreams," Jasmine cried. "I learned the hard way."

Meanwhile, Gino said he was feeling pretty bad because he had wanted to be with Jasmine for the rest of his life. Gino couldn't defend his actions, but he told the cameras that he would never deliberately hurt Jasmine.

"I love Jasmine more than I ever thought I could love a woman," Gino shared. "I know that if I lose Jasmine like this, I will never find love like this again. So I'd be devastated [if she's really done]."

Jasmine said she never wanted to see Gino again and that "bastard" was "dead" to her because he had damaged her reputation and shared photos of her. She said Gino was going to pay for his mistakes.

Jasmine therefore reunited with Gino in his hotel room and started swearing at him.

"I'm going to sue you," Jasmine said.

Gino claimed Jasmine's breasts were showing in the photos but they were not nude photos.

Gino accused Jasmine of not being able to speak peacefully, and she became increasingly more upset. Jasmine screamed at Gino for violating her privacy and confidence, and Gino said how he had made a mistake but couldn't take it back.

"You're f-cking trash, a stupid old man!" Jasmine yelled. "Speak! F-cking speak! Have the balls to say something. Why did you do it?"

"To rub it into her face," Gino replied.

Jasmine said she felt like "a piece of meat" and Gino seemed to be obsessed with his ex, which Gino denied since he had broken up with her. Jasmine then threatened to post Gino's "depressing" and "tiny d-ck" photos online.

Jasmine told Gino that she didn't want to see him again and she had made "a f-cking mistake" by dating him. Jasmine lunged at Gino and attacked him physically, and so producers had to break them up.

"How dare you! I trusted you!" Jasmine screamed, totally out of control. "He is a loser. Stupid liar! I f-cking hate him."

Once Jasmine calmed down and she returned to Gino's hotel room to get her purse, Gino begged for a second chance because he was devastated about their breakup and the idea of losing her.

Jasmine said she didn't want to play games, but Gino insisted he loved her very much and his intentions for their relationship were long-term. Gino said he only loved her and she's the perfect woman.

"I'll never find anyone as amazing as you in this world," Gino said.

Jasmine started to cry and hugged Gino because she said she loved him. Jasmine said even though her forgiveness may appear stupid, she knew that he loved her by the way that he looked at her.

The pair therefore hugged and made up, but Jasmine acknowledged it would take time for her to heal from his betrayal and their blowout fight.

MIKE and XIMENA

Mike and Ximena were back to having a long-distance relationship after Mike returned to the U.S. However, the couple was engaged now and so Mike began talking to a lawyer about the visa process.

Mike said he and Ximena were scheduled to get married in Colombia the following month, and he was working on being more tidy and organized at home to make his future wife happy.

But Mike noticed Ximena was being a little standoffish, and so he planned another trip to Colombia so they could reconnect in person before tying the knot.

Mike told his father and grandfather how Ximena had been "off" and more distant for two weeks. She also asked Mike to pay for a liposuction procedure as well as a breast augmentation.

Mike said Ximena was adamant about getting these surgeries even though Mike thought she looked great as is, and his family advised Mike not to pay for the cosmetic surgery.

Mike's dad and grandfather also told Mike to stop paying her rent and bills because Ximena was living "a lavish life" already in Colombia.

"I know Ximena and I need to work on our relationship, and that's why I have to go back to Colombia. What I hope happens on this trip is we work out the differences, find out why she changed a little bit and why her texts are different," Mike shared.

"But I'm confident when we're back together, I'm going to feel the same love that we had on the first trip."

Mike was told to be smart and watch out for red flags.

Once Mike arrived in Colombia, Ximena told the cameras how she had been "super in love" with Mike during his first visit but his clingy nature was starting to turn her off. She also didn't want to see him again until she had her surgeries completed.

She had anticipated going under the knife in a few days but Mike's arrival apparently pushed things back for her and so she wasn't happy.

That night, the pair went out to a club but Mike went home alone. He therefore feared Ximena had spent time with another man, but she denied it and felt interrogated.

Mike demanded to be more of a priority in Ximena's life, and so he said he trusted her and was okay with her having fun with her friends. But Ximena was upset about the conversation and walked away from it in tears.

"It seems like I'm the only one putting in effort to connect. I'm hoping for it to get better, because if not, then the relationship -- I don't think it's going to work," Mike said in a confessional.

ELLA and JOHNNY

After waiting a year-and-a-half, Ella decided to take matters into her own hands and finally meet the love of her life, Johnny, in person.

The original plan was for Johnny to buy a ticket, fly to Dubai and quarantine there for 14 days amid the coronavirus pandemic and then buy a ticket to come to the United States.

But Johnny was very worried about COVID-19 in America, so Ella decided to get her own ticket and fly to Dubai in order to meet him there. She hoped this would light a fire under Johnny's ass to finally meet her in-person.

Ella was spending money she didn't have and putting her heart on the line for Johnny.

When Ella broke the news to Johnny via Skype that she'd be joining him in Dubai, he said, "I am so happy to hear this! I know the big sacrifice you made."

Johnny shared, however, COVID-19 policies and restrictions were going to make their travels very hard and controlled. Johnny claimed that if he met Ella in Dubai, he would have to quarantine for five weeks before being able to return to China.

"It's really too much sacrifice for a very short meet," Johnny said.

Johnny asked Ella to wait for the government to update its rules, but Ella insisted they needed to meet and two weeks would be better than nothing.

"I'm starting to feel like you really didn't want to come in the first place," Ella noted.

"I feel with you it's a waiting game and I will be waiting forever. So if you do not want to come to Dubai, I am going to start looking at other options, like having an open relationship."

Ella really wanted a family and she was about to turn 30 years old, so she needed a straight answer from Johnny. She decided to give him a few days to think things over before revisiting the conversation.

Johnny didn't like the idea of Ella sleeping with another man, and so he had to make a choice -- and soon. He didn't want the effects of COVID-19 to ruin his relationship, because he said he really cared for Ella and wanted to be with her.

BEN and MAHOGANY

Ben was shown waiting at a restaurant in Mahogany's alleged hometown in Peru to finally meet in-person, but she was once again a no-show after one hour.

Ben realized Mahogany may not be real, and his world was about to fall apart.

"I am holding out hope that the love we shared was real," Ben lamented in a confessional.

Suddenly, after believing he had been stood up, Mahogany walked in and gave Ben a hug!

"Mahogany, you are real?! I love you," Ben said as he hugged his girlfriend.

"I can't believe it," Mahogany said.

Mahogany explained in a confessional how she didn't feel prepared to meet Ben in-person and almost didn't show up. Her parents thought Ben had bad intentions for their relationship, but Mahogany said she wanted to get to know Ben for herself.

Ben called Mahogany "beautiful" and said that moment was "unbelievably magical" and totally "worth the wait."

Mahogany apologized for delaying their first meeting, but Ben assured his girlfriend that everything was fine and she didn't have anything to be sorry for.

Mahogany said Ben looked different but "in a good way." However, she told the cameras that Ben looked more muscular in his modeling photos.

And Ben said, "Mahogany does look a little different in person than she does in her pictures, and I can tell that her pictures that she sent me were [edited] a little bit. But to me, the most important thing is the aura that she gives off and just this presence of kindness and love."

Mahogany told Ben that she loved his big heart and beautiful soul and the fact he loves God, but Ben acknowledged how they had a long road ahead of them and he wanted to earn his trust as well as her parents' respect.

Mahogany said Ben seemed nice and attractive but she needed more time to get to know him before deciding if they could have an actual long-term relationship.

Ben could also tell that they were on "two different levels" because Mahogany wouldn't say "I love you" back to him.
