The new series, whose key locales have yet to be revealed, will unite the eight men with female counterparts along their journey, and together the group will attempt to find any romantic connections, the Scotsman reported.
"The premise of the show is a really good one," former "Unteachables" producer Sallie Clement said about her new series. "When we were pitching the idea we did it using the fact that I don't have a track record for manipulating people. This is about celebrating dynamic, charismatic characters and showing the positive aspects of being single."
The new series announcement comes after the BBC revealed the new season of its hit series "Castaway" will relocate to New Zealand when it begins airing in 2007.
