A probate judge in Canton, Mass., berated Bobby Brown for missing a June court date, even though the singer paid $200,000 in back child support.
"But she did commend him for getting on track (with his support payments) and hopefully he'll be good to go in the future," Registrar of Probate Patrick McDermott told the newspaper.
McDermott said Brown, who stars in Bravo's reality show "Being Bobby Brown," paid his child support through the end of the year.
Brown had become a fixture in the Canton courthouse through the years for failing to pay support to Kim Ward, the mother of his children, La Princia and Bobby Jr., the Herald said. Last year, Brown was jailed for a day for failing to make $63,500 in child support payments.
Brown lives outside Atlanta with his wife, Whitney Houston and their daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
