The couple isn't sure of a lot of things these days, like whether their wedding will still be televised.
"I have no idea," Higgins said, before deflecting the question to his fiancee. "What do you think?"
"I don't know, truly," Bushnell replied. "I have no idea."
As Happily Ever After? fans recall, Chris Harrison offered Higgins and Bushnell a televised wedding as long as they could get it together in a short period of time; however, the former The Bachelor star called it off due to overwhelming stress and pressure.
"A lot of that isn't fully up to us," Bushnell continued.
"So we're trying not to really think about like, is it going to be on TV, or where are we going to live in 10 years? There are so many unanswered questions and so many things that aren't necessarily in our control, so we're just trying to kind of enjoy the time now."
But Higgins revealed Bushnell still has their future nuptials on the brain.
"She still brings up the cake and the dress and the food sometimes," Higgins said, adding that the wedding is not "completely to a halt."
Despite canceling the wedding in an earlier episode of Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, the finale featured Higgins assuring Bushnell that it's "back on" after they enjoyed bachelor/ette parties in Las Vegas.
Higgins therefore clarified to E! News about the wedding, "I'd say it just doesn't have the immediacy as it did before."
Whenever this highly-anticipated ceremony does take place, Bushnell acknowledged it may not be in the United States.

"I have always kind of thought about a destination wedding," Bushnell disclosed. "It keeps it a little more intimate, I think."
Higgins and Bushnell got engaged at the conclusion of The Bachelor's 20th season, which filmed in late 2015 and aired in March on ABC.
