Bethenny Frankel has accomplished quite a bit in her career since starring on The Real Housewives of New York City, but she's apparently ready to return to her roots.

Frankel will be rejoining The Real Housewives of New York City for its upcoming seventh season to both benefit herself and the Bravo series, Us Weekly reported.
While the author and former Bethenny talk show host will be able to further promote her Skinnygirl empire, which features a cocktail line and shapewear, producers reportedly hope Frankel's return will increase television ratings.
"Bringing her back is a last-ditch effort," a source told Us.
Frankel left The Real Housewives of New York City after its third season back in 2010. Her decision came several months after giving birth to her four-year-old daughter Bryn with Jason Hoppy, and she had many conflicts with her former best friend Jill Zarin and longtime rival Kelly Bensimon on the show.

Although Zarin and Bensimon left the show in 2011, an insider told Us that Zarin "might come back to rehash their issues, but so far it's just talk." The current stars of The Real Housewives of New York City are LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, and Kristen Taekman.
Telepictures production company had confirmed in February Bethenny was being canceled after only one season. Prior to her talk show, Frankel starred in the Bravo spinoffs Bethenny Getting Married? and Bethenny Ever After.
Frankel and Hoppy divorced in late December 2012 after three years of marriage, resulting in an ugly year-long legal battle.
