Big Brother: All-Stars featured Cody Calafiore, the week's Head of Household, winning the Power of Veto competition and deciding against using its golden power during Wednesday night's Season 22 episode on CBS.

The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 52, with Cody saying he had nominated David and Kevin for eviction because they were the only two people left in the house who were not members of his The Committee alliance.
Cody had made it known Kevin is his target this week, so Kevin felt a lot of pressure to win the Power of Veto.
Cody said if David or Kevin managed to take himself off the chopping block or get saved, Christmas Abbott would probably be his replacement nominee.
Nicole Franzel told Dani Briones that Cody's goal was to nominate Christmas as the replacement nominee if one of the original nominees was no longer an option, and Dani loved the idea of Christmas going home.
Dani probably even took credit for planting seeds in Cody's mind that Christmas needed to go. While Nicole was still friends with Dani, she decided she no longer wanted to go along with any of Dani's plans that would further Dani in the game but hurt her own game.
Nicole was referring to the big lie she had told Da.Vonne Rogers about voting Ian Terry out.
Nicole had told Da'Vonne that she voted Tyler Crispen out, but that wasn't the case, and part of the reason Nicole chose to betray Da'Vonne was so that Dani wouldn't be put in the position of having to break a tie on eviction night and show her cards as HoH.

Nicole had sacrificed her alliance and friendship with Da'Vonne for Dani's sake and to keep The Committee pleased with her.
Meanwhile, Memphis Garrett said nominations needed to stay the same this week or else one of his allies would be on the chopping block -- and Memphis said he wouldn't be okay with that.

"I feel like he's a lot closer to other people at this point, and so I have to take my game into my own hands and win the veto. But first, I need to get picked for the veto," Christmas said in the Diary Room.
After talking to Kevin, David realized he wasn't the target this week. However, David still planned to put all of his energy and effort into winning the Power of Veto competition.
Enzo Palumbo has a Final 2 deal with Cody but didn't understand why Cody was targeting outsiders like David and Kevin. Enzo hoped to take out somebody big and create a little chaos in the house.
"This is a perfect opportunity to just backdoor somebody. It's time. Let's shake things up man! Let's make some enemies. Let's go bro!" Enzo told the cameras.
Kevin then opened up to David about how he's half black and half Japanese yet doesn't feel like he fits into either group or is totally accepted.
Afterward, Nicole told Christmas that Dani was targeting her in order to strengthen their relationship. Nicole was trying to look out for herself and knew it would be beneficial to her game if Dani ended up being first on Christmas' hit list.

It then became time to pick players for the Power of Veto competition. In addition to the Head of Household, Cody, and two nominees, David and Kevin, the following All-Stars were also selected to play: Nicole, Tyler and Enzo.
Nicole hoped to protect Christmas and keep nominations the same. When Tyler got picked, Christmas slow clapped with frustration and had an angry look on her face.
David picked Enzo to play as his Houseguest's Choice because Enzo had said he didn't want to see Kevin or David go home.
When Christmas didn't get chosen to play, she stormed out of the room and yelled about how she was probably going to be the replacement nominee. Tyler and Memphis ran after Christmas to console her, and she insisted her attitude wasn't personal against anybody.
Christmas wished she could play to win the veto in order to prevent herself from getting backdoored.
Memphis, Cody and Enzo were then shown talking about how they needed to keep nominations the same. Enzo pretended he was onboard with that plan and he wouldn't mind seeing Kevin go home, but he had another strategy in mind.

"I want to win the PoV, I want to take one of these noms off, and I want to shake this house up. There are too many alliances in this house," Enzo said.
"I can't remember every name to every alliance that I'm in. I'm ready to backdoor somebody just to make things easier for me!"
For the Power of Veto competition starring Otev, who took the form of a psychedelic salamander, the participating houseguests were required to search the backyard filled with beach balls and pool floaties for a tie-dye T-shirt that had the names of two evicted houseguests on it.
After Otev provided a clue or statement, the players had to slide down a slippery ramp and search for the correct shirt Otev was looking for. Once a houseguest found the correct shirt, he or she would have to make his or her way back up the ramp and present Otev with the shirt.
The last person to give Otev the correct shirt would be eliminated from the competition until only one person remained.

Kevin said he wanted to win the veto because he was tired of Cody getting everything he wants in the game, but David was out in the first round after finding the money T-shirt.
David predicted the other houseguests were going to hate on him, which they did, but he didn't care because he was $10,000 richer.

Tyler was eliminated in the second round, and then he was followed by Kevin -- who was edged out by Cody in a matter of seconds -- Nicole, and Enzo. In the end, Cody won the golden Power of Veto and he was so excited to keep the power.
David was pretty convinced Kevin was the target this week, but Kevin was glad he "didn't make a $10,000 mistake."
Enzo also questioned if David had just thrown his whole game away for $10,000 because seemingly all of the houseguests lost respect for him.
Memphis, Christmas and Dani all agreed they wouldn't mind seeing David go home after that.
Cody said David going for the money over the veto put a huge target on his back, which could screw up his plan of taking Kevin out.
Cody knew if Kevin lasted another week in the house, Kevin could potentially win Head of Household and come after him "with a vengeance."
David started wondering if he had made a mistake because taking $10,000 could result in his eviction. Kevin acknowledged this is what he needed to hopefully save himself.
Christmas was glad Cody didn't backdoor her, and Cody hoped Kevin would be going home.
