Big Brother: All-Stars featured Tyler Crispen winning the Power of Veto competition and then deciding not to use its golden power to save either Da.Vonne Rogers or Kevin "KC" Campbell from eviction during Wednesday night's Season 22 episode on CBS.

However, Tyler's move actually went against Memphis' original backdoor plan to take out David Alexander.
The Big Brother: All-Stars broadcast began on Day 45 after the Nomination Ceremony in which Memphis had nominated Da'Vonne and Kevin for eviction as pawns.
Memphis' real goal was to backdoor David, but the HoH had asked David in private to throw the upcoming Power of Veto competition in exchange for safety for this week. Memphis' only condition was that David couldn't tell anybody about the deal.
David had agreed to the deal when speaking with Memphis, but David told the cameras in the Diary Room he was going to try to win the PoV no matter what in order to guarantee his safety this week or potentially save a friend.
It was clear David didn't trust Memphis and vice versa.
Kevin was annoyed he was on the chopping block again, and Da'Vonne said she'd have to do everything in her power to win the veto in order to survive another week in the Big Brother house.
Memphis intended to keep his backdoor plan under wraps so David wouldn't get wind he's the real target, but the HoH did everything he could to try to make Kevin feel comfortable. Memphis said he didn't want to see Kevin go.
Dani Briones had told Da'Vonne not to use her Power of Veto on Kevin last week, but since Da'Vonne did just that, Dani took credit for Da'Vonne being on the block this week and being vulnerable of eviction.

Meanwhile, Cody Calafiore hoped the nominations would stay the same so an All-Star outside of his The Committee alliance would be going home.

Da'Vonne was also onto Memphis' plan to backdoor David, which she was totally okay with.
"Great! This man [David] has been constantly trying to sabotage my game, and if David is the target, that means Da'Vonne is not," Da'Vonne acknowledged in the Diary Room.
Da'Vonne and Kevin had really bonded in the house and become best friends, and it was clear they were going to have each other's back going forward.
It then became time for the All-Stars to pick players for the Power of Veto competition.
In addition to the HoH, Memphis, and the two nominees, Da'Vonne and Kevin, Tyler, Nicole Franzel and Dani were also selected to play.
Nicole was Da'Vonne's "Houseguest's Choice," thinking there was a possibility she could depend on Nicole because of the Ian Terry vote. (Da'Vonne was convinced David flipped on her alliance and voted out Ian when it was actually Nicole).
Kevin picked Dani as his "Houseguest's Choice," and the results confirmed in Tyler's mind that Dani and Nicole had been making secret deals or alliances behind his back outside of The Committee alliance.
Dani told Nicole that if either of them won the Power of Veto competition, they should pull Da'Vonne off the chopping block. The girls agreed there was no other option because the girls were still working with Da'Vonne as an ally.

But then Memphis pulled Nicole, Dani and Tyler into a room and revealed his plans to backdoor David. Memphis therefore asked all three All-Stars to throw the Power of Veto competition.
"I was taking the chance [David] wouldn't get picked [to play] to make sure [he goes home]. That was the whole plan," Memphis explained.
Memphis told the trio to not speak of these plans to anyone else, but Tyler wasn't onboard with the plan to backdoor David. Tyler said he wasn't going to sit around and let that happen.
"I want to win because I haven't won anything yet," Nicole told Dani once Memphis and Tyler left the room.
"I'm so sick of him," Dani added in reference to Memphis.
Memphis also revealed his backdoor plan with Da'Vonne and Kevin, but they weren't sure it was genuine.
Tyler didn't want to get rid of David because he was alone in the game and could be used as a number. He therefore thought a better course of action would be to break up the power duo of Da'Vonne and Kevin.
"At the end of the day, I have a plan and it's to get David out. Period," Memphis told Tyler.
Tyler then told Cody how Memphis wanted to backdoor David, and Cody agreed it was a stupid idea to leave Da'Vonne and Kevin in the house together. Cody recognized David was on an island by himself and said Da'Vonne and Kevin were both bigger threats than David.

"David is a lone wolf in this game who isn't really a huge competitive threat. This is an absolute nightmare of a plan," Cody said in the Diary Room.
Cody told Tyler that he should try to win the veto and go against the grain.

Zingbot showed up in the backyard as "Tiger Zing" and immediately said, "I can't believe I'm here on Big Brother: All-Stars, and frankly, I really can't believe you're here either, David."
The All-Stars cracked up laughing and David said, "Oh that one hurt!" Memphis agreed with Zingbot, calling David "a rookie."
Zingbot called Enzo Palumbo pathetic and suggested Memphis is a turd. Zingbot poked fun at Cody's apparent low IQ and told Dani that she looked old.
"Christmas, what's the difference between you and the holiday season?" Zingbot asked. "One is cold, stress-inducing and annoying -- and one is the holiday season."
Zingbot called Kevin "boring" and teased Tyler about his love for girlfriend Angela Rummans. Zingbot also made fun of Da'Vonne for losing multiple reality TV seasons.

And Zingbot sang Nicole the following song: "Here comes the bride. She loves to whine and cry. Every time I hear her voice, I want to f-cking die!"
Zingbot then kickstarted the tiger and zoo-themed Power of Veto competition.
The participating houseguests were required to start a clock and then race into the zoo. From there, the players had to track down three escaped alien tigers and return them one at a time to their correct cages.
Once all three tigers were placed in their correct cages, a player had to hit his or her button to stop the clock.
The All-Star to successfully complete the challenge in the fastest time would win the Power of Veto.

In the end, Tyler won the Power of Veto with a very fast time of two minutes and 55 seconds. Memphis finished in second place with a time of three minutes and 29 seconds, and third place went to Dani with a time of three minutes and 41 seconds.
Tyler knew he had put himself in a little bit of a pickle with Memphis, who admitted he was mad, so Tyler hoped to smooth things over and do a little damage control.

Da'Vonne said Tyler winning was "worst case scenario," and Kevin wasn't thrilled with the results either.
Tyler explained in the Diary Room he had no intention of following Memphis' orders and getting rid of David wasn't best for his game. Memphis became suspicious of Tyler and why he might want to keep David around.
Tyler reminded Memphis that Kevin and Da'Vonne seemed tight, and Memphis also became sketched out by Dani and Nicole, who clearly didn't try to throw the competition either.
Tyler insisted to Memphis that he was looking out for the both of them and better options were on the table.
At the Veto Meeting, Da'Vonne announced that neither she or Kevin could convince Tyler to use the veto on one of them, and she was right. Tyler declared he was not going to use the Power of Veto on anyone.
"Tyler didn't use the veto, which means I can't backdoor David this week," Memphis said.
"But it was way more important this week to cut off Dani and Nicole's side deal. We want them to stay focused on The Committee and not try to work other angles."
Tyler was glad he prevented David's ouster and said, "I'm nobody's beta," in light of the fact Memphis was trying to be alpha.

Kevin had confidence he could survive the Big Brother block again, and Da'Vonne said Tyler's move confirmed there was never a plan to backdoor David. However, Da'Vonne didn't know the plan actually existed and then changed.
