Big Brother alum Elena Davies is addressing rumors she and ex-boyfriend Mark Jansen reconnected and are back together.

Rumors of a reconciliation, however, sparked late last week when Elena and Mark posted separate photos of themselves in what appeared to be the same bed on Instagram.
Fans speculated their romance is back on or they had at least hooked up.
Elena therefore commented on her current relationship status during Tuesday's episode of her MiscELENAeous podcast, confirming that while she and Mark did in fact "reconnect," she is still single, according to E! News.
"Let me clarify, the timeline of our relationship... has been distorted a bit," Elena reportedly explained.
"I didn't announce our breakup until almost a full month later. And when he and I did reconnect, it was in no official capacity due to not really knowing where it could lead and some other circumstances."
Elena said she kept their reunion a secret, but once it started to fizzle out, she began "nonchalantly" mentioning it to friends.
"Who hasn't gotten back together with an ex?" Elena continued in her podcast, E! News reported.
"I know rumors are circulating heavily again due to our Instagram posts. Unfortunately I am going to leave you a little bit unsatisfied."
Elena insisted she and Mark have not gotten back together, but it sounds like the former reality TV star isn't ruling out the idea of Mark being her boyfriend again way down the road.
"I do love him very very very much, still," Elena reportedly said.

Elena added, "Out of respect for Mark, and my hope in what could be for us, I am leaving this narrative much more private for now. I am a normal girl who loves this one guy and I don't know what the future holds yet. But I am hopeful and I am excited to find out."
Elena also insisted the pair's split was genuine and they've never exaggerated any of the highs or lows in their relationship for attention or press.
"You can just ask my mom who watched me lay in bed and cry off and on for three months," Elena confessed of the breakup.
"I have appreciated and loved all of you who have loved and supported us and I would never take advantage of that. I would never manipulate you guys in any sort of way. Everything that has happened, has not been fabricated in any sort of way."
Mark broke the news his romance with Elena was over in March during an episode of his own podcast, Find Your Fortitude.
"I was in love with Elena," Mark admitted at the time, adding that they fought constantly and broke up multiple times.

Mark, a fitness trainer, disclosed that he could no longer deal with Elena's pessimistic attitude and the fact she spoke ill of him and their relationship on social media as well as in her own podcast.
Elena agreed on Instagram days later that she took Mark for granted and was "not a perfect girlfriend."
She claimed, however, that Mark had no doubt she loved him.

Prior to calling it quits, Mark and Elena had been living together in Elena's hometown of Dallas, TX.
Once Elena and Mark finished filming Big Brother in September 2017, he relocated from Buffalo, NY, to be with her.
During the former lovebirds' time in the game, Mark heavily pursued Elena while she pushed back in order to avoid being viewed as a power couple in the Big Brother house.
It was difficult to tell if Elena reciprocated Mark's obvious feelings, but she appeared to fall for him slowly over time.
Big Brother's 21st season is scheduled to return with a two-night premiere event on Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26, with both episodes airing from 8-9PM ET/PT on CBS.
