Big Brother evictee Megan Lowder was shown leaving the game on Sunday night's episode "due to an urgent personal matter," and now she's revealing why she quit the game.

Megan evicted herself from the Big Brother house following multiple controversies and heated arguments with her fellow houseguests within the first week of the Season 19 competition.

"When I was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, I was sexually assaulted and I got really bad PTSD from it," Megan, who had served in the Navy, told The Desert Sun.

"So in the house... I had a lot of guys yelling at me and attacking me and it started really affecting me and making my anxiety severe and I was starting to get physically ill. I was throwing up, I had diarrhea, I was nauseous all the time."

Megan's time in the Big Brother house got off to a very rough start. Her fellow houseguest Josh Martinez called her a "bully" and "snake" during the season's first Head of Household competition because of her desire to strategize, and then Cody Nickson nominated her for eviction, stating that he simply didn't like her.

But tension reached an all-time high when the 28-year-old dog walker appeared to get caught in a lie about a racial slur.

Megan had told her friend, Alex Ow, that Jessica Graf called her a "panda" behind her back. Jessica, however, whole-heartedly denied the allegation when confronted, and Alex believed her.

A blow-out fight then occurred between Megan and Alex, and it ended with Megan locking herself in the Diary Room for several hours before her self-eviction was announced to the cast.

News that Megan was leaving Big Brother first surfaced after the live feeds were turned on Thursday evening and she was nowhere to be found.

As shown on Sunday night's episode, Jessica appeared to call Alex "Pao Pao," a reference to Season 16 Big Brother player Paola Shea's nickname.

Jessica was comparing the girls, who both have firecracker personalities in small packages. "Pao Pao" may have sounded like "panda."

"I could have heard wrong, it's entirely possible," admitted Megan, who initially stood by her claim of hearing "panda" on the show when the situation was being discussed.

"But I was already talking to them about wanting to leave before that and so at that point, I knew I couldn't handle it anymore and I went into the Diary Room where I started having a panic attack and they wound up taking me to the hospital a couple hours later."

Megan told The Sun that she spent a couple of days in the hospital and is now in Cathedral City, CA, with her family.

"I was expecting to have one of the funnest summers of my life. I did have fun. I had a great time until all that just got the best of me," Megan revealed.

"It was my own issues that lead to everything, it wasn't anyone else's fault. Without my stuff going on I probably could have handled things very, very differently and been fine but I just couldn't."

After Megan left the house, the Head of Household, Cody, had to name a replacement nominee for eviction, and that person turned out to be Alex.

Alex is now on the chopping block with Jillian Parker.
