Big Brother's houseguests evicted Aaryn Gries from the house during Thursday night's broadcast of the fifteenth season's ninth live eviction show.

Aaryn had anticipated her eviction and even told GinaMarie Zimmerman, her only remaining close ally in the house, to vote for her ouster over Andy Herren, the other houseguest who was nominated for eviction.
"The house has been voting together, just so they don't become targets, and I told GinaMarie that since there was no way I would get the votes [to stay] then just go ahead and vote with the house so she's not a target," Aaryn told Big Brother host Julie Chen following her eviction.
"I think it was because of my competition wins, they might think it was easier to beat Andy going forward -- I'm not sure, but I know they're more loyal to him because he's been with them longer."
Elissa initially nominated Aaryn and McCrae Olson, a 23-year-old pizza delivery person from Zimmerman, MN who currently resides in Oak Grove, MN, for eviction.
Elissa told the houseguests she had nominated McCrae in the hopes he'd win the Power of Veto competition and Aaryn because she had allegedly made Elissa's life "miserable" in the house all season and targeted her since the beginning. Elissa felt it was the week to go after big targets, and no matter how much Aaryn cried and begged, she wanted her gone.
Aaryn also played a big role in Helen Kim's eviction, so Elissa felt she was making a big move on behalf of her former ally and best friend.
Elissa's decision worried the "3 A.M." alliance -- which was comprised of Aaryn; McCrae; Amanda Zuckerman, a 28-year-old real estate agent from Long Island, NY who currently resides in Boynton Beach, FL; and Andy, a 26-year-old professor from Aurora, IL who currently resides in Chicago, IL.
While Aaryn was Elissa's No. 1 target, her second happened to be Amanda. Unaware of Elissa's intentions at first, Amanda suggested she put GinaMarie, a 32-year-old pageant coordinator from Brooklyn, NY who currently resides in Staten Island, NY, on the chopping block next to Aaryn.
Amanda worried if herself or McCrae went up, one of them would certainly go home. For the first time in the game, Amanda felt "defeated" and vulnerable.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Elissa had a change of heart and realized she needed to get Amanda out before Aaryn and McCrae, Amanda's showmance boyfriend. She believed Amanda had all the power and control over the house, including Andy. Therefore, Elissa decided to put her personal vendetta aside and join forces with Aaryn to backdoor Amanda.
With GinaMarie and Judd Daugherty -- who returned to the game after winning the competition amongst all the evictees -- on their side, Aaryn turned on her "3 A.M." alliance and became fully onboard with Elissa's goal to evict Amanda. Elissa and Aaryn decided one of them needed to win the veto so they could take Aaryn off the block and put up Amanda in her place.
RELATED LINK: 'BIG BROTHER' SHOWMANCES NOWWhen it became time to pick the players for the Power of Veto competition, Aaryn was able to select a houseguest of her choice to compete. Instead of picking Andy -- the only other "3 A.M." alliance member available -- to play, she opted to have Judd compete. The turn of events led Amanda to suspect Aaryn was being disloyal and potentially working against her. Amanda also knew Elissa and GinaMarie had teamed up.
Much to everyone's surprise, Amanda subsequently won the PoV when she had never won a competition all season. Amanda then had all the power back and started to yell at Elissa and bully her at every opportunity. Andy comforted Elissa but only to remain on the HoH's good side with the hopes of not being placed on the block.
Amanda used her PoV right to take McCrae off the block, a move that was clear as day to everyone in the house. Forced to name a replacement nominee, Elissa selected Andy.
Once Andy was on the chopping block, he seemingly opened his eyes. Andy confessed that if he was to stay in the game, it was no longer an option to work with Amanda and McCrae and they must be evicted as soon as possible. Andy thought he had no shot to win the game against that powerful pair if they all made it to the end.
Aaryn will now join fellow evicted houseguests Helen, Candice Stewart and Jessie Kowalski on the Big Brother jury which will eventually decide the season's winner.
Following Aaryn's eviction, the remaining houseguests -- minus Elissa, who as the outgoing HoH, was deemed ineligible to participate -- competed in the season's tenth Head of Household competition.
Dubbed "Big Hopportunity", the competition required the houseguests -- who had to don fuzzy bunny ears and bind their feet together -- to use their fingers to move eggs through a vertical chicken wire maze and then hop over to an Easter basket and deposit the egg. The first houseguest to successfully put a dozen eggs into their basket would be crowned the season's tenth HoH.
While the results of the challenge are already known to the show's 24/7 live Internet feed viewers, CBS will reveal the winner during Sunday night's Big Brother broadcast. (If you don't want to wait until then to find out what happened, highlight the area below.)
