Big Brother's Season 17 houseguests evicted Da'Vonne Rogers from the house and crowned two new Head of Households during Thursday night's broadcast on CBS.

Seven of Big Brother's houseguests voted to evict Da'Vonne from the game, while two people voted to evict fellow nominee Meg Maley.

Big Brother's eighth episode began with HoH Shelli Poole crying because she felt bad to target Da'Vonne, however, she just needed to do what she could to protect herself. Shelli acknowledged Da'Vonne didn't trust her and would therefore eventually go after her.

Kathy Griffin then explained the rules to her "BB Takeover" twist. A red phone booth appeared in the house and Kathy was going to be calling with 15 different tips, which all ended up being rude and ridiculous, like "shower more." However, one of those phone calls was "The Last Laugh," and whomever answered that call would get to prevent three houseguests from voting at the next live eviction.

Da'Vonne got really excited because she thought it was her chance to stay in the game.

As the phone kept ringing, Clay Honeycutt announced he wanted to take the seventh call because that was his lucky number. Da'Vonne was pissed though because that was her lucky number as well. So when the seventh call came, which ended up being "The Last Laugh," Da'Vonne sat by the phone and waited for it. She received the advantage but played it cool so no one in the house would know of her power.

The power lit a fire under her to rally up votes. She needed five houseguests to vote for her to stay, and she knew she already had Jason Roy.

Da'Vonne started campaigning in the house with everyone possible -- including John McGuire and Vanessa Rousso. Audrey Middleton recognized she should try to keep Da'Vonne although they were rivals at this point, because without her, Audrey would become public enemy No. 1 again.

Clay had a feeling Da'Vonne won "The Last Laugh" because her attitude was different. Shelli began worrying Da'Vonne could get Vanessa, John, Jason, James Huling, Austin Matelson, and Steve Moses on her side.

Meanwhile, Da'Vonne caught on to the "Twin Twist." She figured out that Liz Nolan's body constantly looked different, so she probably had a twin she was switching places with.

Da'Vonne thought one girl's body was much skinnier than the other and one twin was more friendly. Da'Vonne shared that news with the house, and Jason agreed since Big Brother had done this twist in the past. Liz's sister Julia Nolan will not be able to enter the game now as an individual.

Even though Da'Vonne spilled the beans, she lied to Liz and told her that the house was starting to suspect she had a twin. Da'Vonne and Liz made a pact to work together and have each other's backs.

When it became time for the live eviction, host Julie Chen did not reveal which person had "The Last Laugh," but she named the people who could not vote. They were Becky Burgess, Jeff Weldon and Jackie Ibarra. Shelli also couldn't vote as the outgoing HoH.

In Da'Vonne's speech, she said the people who nominated her are "cowards" and houseguests should vote to keep her around because she had no fear and would be able to protect them. Meg then stood up and said she had so much more game to play and insisted she had played a loyal game thus far.

Jason and Audrey voted to evict Meg, while everyone else voted to get rid of Da'Vonne.

The episode concluded with Rob Gronkowski from the Patriots NFL team announcing he'd be responsible for the next "BB Takeover." It was going to be about a week of partying with no "Have Nots." The houseguests then competed in a Head of Household competition dubbed "Gronk's Party Week." which resembled a giant beer pong game.

Austin and Vanessa are the new HoHs going forward.
