Big Brother evicted newbie houseguests Frank Eudy and Joe Arvin during Thursday night's special live double-eviction broadcast of the CBS reality competition's fourteenth season.

Frank Eudy, an unemployed 28-year-old from Marion, AK who currently resides in Naples, FL, was evicted from the Big Brother house via a 3-1 vote after being placed on the chopping block by fellow newbie houseguest Ian Terry, the season's eighth Head of Household.
Ian Terry, a 21-year-old engineering student from Pittsburgh, PA who currently resides in New Orleans, LA, had originally nominated Frank and his closest ally Jenn Arroyo, a 37-year-old musician from Brooklyn, NY, for eviction.
Ian had nominated Frank and Jenn after returning houseguest Dan Gheesling -- who had joined forces with and promised loyalty to Frank and Jenn the week prior, exposing his own "Quack Pack" alliance to ultimately get returning houseguest Britney Haynes out of the game and save himself from eviction -- returned to the "Quack Pack" and worked his magic to smooth things over between them once Ian had won HoH.
Dan told Ian he'd do whatever it takes to keep the "Quack Pack" -- which also consisted of Danielle Murphree, a 23-year-old nurse from Grant, AL who currently resides in Tuscaloosa, AL, and Shane Meaney, a 26-year-old house flipper from Bennington, VT -- in the game, and he swore his allegiance to them once again. Although Frank and Jenn still firmly believed Dan was on their side, along with Danielle, Dan and Danielle had turned on them and declared Frank their No. 1 target.

Therefore, Dan and Ian jointly decided to put Frank on the chopping block because he was a huge physical threat and Jenn on the block because her social game was a threat to their alliance. In the diary room, Ian explained his decision was 99% percent strategy and 1% percent vengeance since Frank and Jenn had both conspired to evict Britney, his previous best friend and closest ally in the house.
However, after winning the subsequent Power of Veto competition, Dan opted to remove Jenn from the chopping block and Ian therefore had to name a replacement nominee. Dan wanted Jenn and Frank to think he still had their backs, but because their alliance was supposed to be a secret, Dan let his "Quack Pack" believe he took her off the block only because she had done the same gesture for him the week prior when she had won the PoV and he wished to return the favor.
Ian then decided it would be best to nominate a "floater" for eviction in order to ensure Frank's ouster, so he placed Joe, a 41-year-old chef from Lexington, KY who is originally from Schererville, ID, on the chopping block instead as a pawn and told his fellow houseguests his move was for "lack of no better option." At this point, Dan led Ian, Danielle, Jenn, and Frank to all believe he had a Final 2 agreement with them.
But before Frank's eviction, Big Brother host Julie Chen surprised the houseguests with the news that in addition to evicting one of Ian's nominees, Thursday night's live broadcast would be a special double-eviction episode in which the houseguests would also participate in an additional HoH competition, PoV competition and eviction live.
During the first round of voting, the "Quack Pack" all voted to evict Frank while only Jenn voted to remove Joe from the game. Therefore, due to a 3-1 vote, a frustrated and disappointed Frank was forced to leave the house immediately, and he only gave a hug and said goodbye to Jenn.

"I am shell-shocked. I mean, I have to admit I was a little worried. It was a little bit of deja vu being up on the block against Joe and depending on Dan and Danielle. And once again, they lied to me. So, it's kind of expected a little bit, but I'm bummed. It's tough. [Dan] put his hand on the Bible and swore his allegiance to me and he went back on that. It's just hard to think a guy like that would do that," Frank told Julie in his post-eviction interview, adding he never thought his alliance with Dan and Danielle was legitimate but he definitely had "hard feelings" against Dan.
"I'm just really kicking myself for even trusting him a little bit, but the truth is, I lost that PoV so there's not a whole lot I could've done about it anyway... A lot of times, I put my faith in people and I got stabbed in the back. But the thing was, after the double eviction, I had nobody to turn to. I had Jenn but nobody else in this game... I played a pretty honest game and I was hoping someone would return the favor but nobody really would."
Following his eviction, Big Brother's remaining houseguests -- minus Ian, who as the outgoing HoH, was ineligible to participate -- competed in the season's ninth HoH competition.
Dubbed "Make Your Case," the competition required each player to identify which previously-eliminated houseguest said a quote read aloud by Julie made during his or her final plea from a night he or she was on the chopping block and nominated for eviction. Each correct answer was worth one point, and after seven questions, the person to earn the most points would win the challenge.
Dan won the competition and became the season's ninth Head of Household. He then quickly nominated Joe and Ian for eviction.

"In this game, there's no hard feelings. Joe, I have to nominate you. And Ian, I'm sorry buddy, you haven't been nominated yet. You gotta feel it," Dan announced.
The houseguests then competed in an additional Power of Veto competition.
Dubbed "Swimming with Sharks," the competition required the players to navigate a shark fin through the narrow openings of a windey maze. The first person to get his or her fin all the way to the end of the puzzle and then carry the fin back to the start would win.
Ian was the first person to successfully complete the maze. Since he won the Power of Veto, Ian opted to remove himself from the chopping block once again. After Ian revealed his decision, Dan then had to announce a replacement nominee. Dan chose to put Danielle on the chopping block with Joe, leaving the houseguests to choose between evicting one of them.
Joe ended up getting evicted based upon a 3-0 vote in which Danielle was clearly put up for eviction solely as a pawn to guarantee Joe's elimination. Joe then became the fourth member of Big Brother's fourteenth-season jury, as Frank had previously become the third.

"I couldn't win that PoV and sometimes you have to come up with a big win in life, and I couldn't pull that one out. So [Ian] deserved it. He absolutely deserves this," Joe told Julie in his post-eviction interview when asked why he was evicted, adding that Danielle and Shane were too close to be broken up.
"Showmance! I can't go there. I'll rub his back, but that's all he's getting! There's only so much a man can give. I tried every ounce of my body to try to win one of those [competitions]. They have 20 years on me... I thought going in the best thing I could possibly do is use my cooking skills to win some love and also just be there for people."
