Big Brother evicted Paulie Calafiore on Day 62 of the game and revealed a new twist in which one jury member will be able to re-enter the game during Thursday night's live episode on CBS.

Paulie, a 27-year-old gym owner and deejay from Howell, NJ, was evicted from the Big Brother house through a unanimous 5-0 vote instead of his closest ally in the game Corey Brooks, a 25-year-old baseball coach from Dallas, TX.

At the end of the episode, Big Brother host Julie Chen revealed the first five jury members -- who are the latest houseguests evicted from the game -- will battle it out in a competition for a spot back in the game.

The Big Brother broadcast began with this week's Head of Household and Power of Veto winner, Victor Arroyo, feeling amazing that he managed to get Paulie up on the chopping block since Paulie was responsible for his backdoor blindside in the beginning of the game.

Paulie, knowing he was absolutely the target, felt he couldn't campaign again his best friend Corey to stay.

Meanwhile, Paul Abrahamian talked to his alliance about how Paulie needed to go because of his behavior, not his strategy, and for the sake of his own mental health as well as everybody else's.

Paulie then cried to James Huling about how he had sacrificed a lot to come on Big Brother. He also saw a butterfly, which made him cry more because he thought it was a spirit of someone deceased.

Although James was mad at him for allegedly hitting on his girlfriend Natalie Negrotti and disrespecting her, James comforted Paulie and called him "a big ass teddy bear."

At this point in the game, Paulie lost hope and felt defeated. Zingbot started singing his patriotic song, which was when Paulie was supposed to get dressed up like a chef and bake apple pies, but he refused to do it.

Michelle Meyer told the cameras that she should no longer be considered the crybaby of the house. She thought it was sad Paulie wanted to go out like this. But after a pep talk from Corey, Paulie realized he needed to be strong and continue playing this game.

As a result, Paulie began rebuilding relationships in the house, starting with Natalie, whom he had badly offended. Paulie confessed he can have a "sharp tongue" and felt guilty about it.

Paulie apologized to Natalie, but she said it wasn't genuine because his motive was coming from a place of desperation since he's on the block. Natalie, like Victor, forgave but won't forget.

Paulie then tried to win sympathy votes. He asked Paul flat out for one, and Paul told the cameras he'd consider throwing Paulie a bone since he's all about "friendship." Because he only needed two more votes to stay, Paulie tried to get James and Natalie on his side.

Paulie then told the couple if they kept him in the house, he'd remain everyone's biggest target and he'd do whatever they say.

Paulie said his presence in the house would keep the heat off their showmance, especially because Victor would want him out. Paulie explained he could be their "weapon." In addition, he mentioned how Victor and Paul were a dangerous pair.

James found merit in the idea, but he had been burned by James before, so he was very hesitant to trust him. Paulie also said if he won HoH next, he'd nominate whichever target James and Natalie wanted.

Once Paulie got evicted via five votes, he was holding onto a One-Way Ticket from a previous twist, so he couldn't re-enter the house. After last night, those tickets expired, and Paul apparently picked the only Round-Trip ticket.

In his post-eviction interview, Paulie told Julie that his mistake was believing there was not a weak link in his guys' alliance. He also said he only cried and threatened to quit in order to potentially win some sympathy votes.

As for his showmance with Zakiyah Everette, Paulie basically admitted he doesn't want to pursue a relationship outside of the house.

The episode concluded with Julie giving fans a heads up about what's to come in the next week.

In addition to the second comeback competition of the season -- but this time with jury members -- that will be announced to the houseguests next Thursday night, there will also be a Friday, August 19 episode in which the next Head of Household competition will begin.

The next "America's Care Package" will give one houseguest safety for the week and unprecedented power, the power of being a co-HoH. This person will join the HoH competition winner and they'll share power and perks.

The co-HoH will also be able to choose one of the two eviction nominees next week.
