Big Brother houseguest Ameerah Jones has admitted the cast's bullying of Taylor Hale "got a little out of hand" and Taylor didn't deserve to be treated that way in the house.

Many fans have been outraged since the start of Big Brother's 24th season over the way Taylor, a 27-year-old personal stylist and former beauty pageant queen from West Bloomfield, MI, has been verbally attacked and ostracized in the game.

"She definitely did not deserve that," Ameerah told Us Weekly following her eviction that aired Thursday night on CBS.

"I have to admit that there was definitely some things that I said as well as other people in the house that probably shouldn't have been said."

Big Brother's Season 23 winner Xavier Prather tweeted on July 10 that some players were being racist towards Taylor and "change is a MUST," adding, "People of color stand no chance in the Big Brother House due to perpetuation of micro-aggressions and unconscious biases which plague our society."

Viewers also saw Daniel Durston yell at Taylor on the show this week for telling Nicole Layog that it would be okay if the game became too much for her emotionally and she needed to quit.

Ameerah was evicted from the Big Brother house during the latest live episode after "The Leftovers" alliance, a group of seven which included the Head of Household Matthew "Turner," secretly came after her.

As part of his explanation for putting Ameerah on the chopping block with her "Festie Bestie" Terrance Higgins following the Power of Veto competition, Turner told the cast, "I really don't want to add to the dog pile that I feel like is going on in this house."

He continued, "Some of you say some crazy things behind closed doors about individuals, and I really don't want to draw a line in the sand by saying this, but as the youngest one in the house, I really don't feel like I should be the one to say that it's not okay. But here I am."

Ameerah admitted the "dog-piling" against Taylor happened more "in the beginning" of the game.

"It was because she said a lot of snarky things to people as how we perceived them. A lot of things were like said under her breath and honestly, they weren't that bad at all to deserve that," Ameerah explained.

The 31-year-old content designer from Westminster, MD, owned up to the fact that things went too far.

"In the beginning, it was kind of just, like, we're in this game right now and we are strategizing and we're just trying to be careful with everybody. And if anybody does anything, we automatically just didn't trust them," Ameerah recalled.

"But as it went along, some people, I would hear them saying more inappropriate things. And so, at one point, there was a blowup and I had to start saying things to people, that I think that it was inappropriate."

Taylor said the drama "started off small" and "kept snowballing" to the point where "a lot of people were saying things that probably shouldn't have been said."

During a separate interview with Parade, Ameerah reiterated how she "didn't like the treatment of Taylor."

"I have to admit that I contributed to it," she confessed.

"I was hearing a lot of hearsay in the house. It's just a bunch of secrets going around. We're all here to play a game. People are throwing false accusations around plus true accusations, and you're trying to figure everything out."

Ameerah said once Taylor became a target, she remained an easy target going forward.

"We just kept rolling with it. Because each week, we have to take somebody out. And that's all I'm thinking about. I'm like, 'Okay, she's an easy target. Everyone is mad at her. Let's just keep rolling with it,'" Ameerah explained.

"So I definitely think that the bullying got a little out of hand. And I wish that I would have done something about it sooner."

Ameerah concluded how she thinks Taylor is beautiful, intelligent and very strategic but also "sneaky" and "a little shady."

Ameerah was evicted from the Big Brother house through a 7-4 vote instead of Terrance on Day 23 of the game. Ameerah was blindsided because she thought the whole house had wanted Taylor out.

Big Brother houseguest Paloma Aguilar also recently addressed backlash for the Taylor bullying in the house. Paloma appeared to lead the Girls' Girl alliance into gunning for Taylor because she didn't appreciate Taylor prancing around the backyard in a bikini and spending most of her time with the guys in the house.

"Her demeanor comes across even more cocky when she's not trying to make an effort with women. She's just digging that hole for herself with the girls," Paloma said.

It especially rubbed Paloma the wrong way when Taylor modeled her tight sparkly dresses and jumpsuits from prior beauty pageants.

Taylor then told her pal Monte Taylor how Paloma was afraid the men were forming an alliance and would come after the girls. Monte brought that information back to Paloma, who felt betrayed and decided that she needed Taylor to go home.

"She's such a b-tch to me.. Her personality just rubs people the wrong way and she lacks, most of all, self-awareness," Paloma vented at one point.

Paloma also called Taylor "a lying b-tch" and "a snake in the garden."

She added, "[Taylor] will stab you from the back and make you a turkey club sandwich, okay?"
