Big Brother houseguest Kathryn Dunn is dishing on her relationship with Nick Maccarone and whether they're happy and exclusive.

"Me and Nick's relationship really blossomed. We talk every single day," Kat, 29, shared.
"We're really having a lot of fun, you know, just getting to know each other out in the real world."
When Victor asked whether they're dating or just hanging out, Kat replied, "Well, it's 2019. I don't know. We're definitely, I mean, he's like my -- of course [I'd be sad if he dated someone else]."
While Kat and Nick don't seem to be exclusive, she said, "If he wants to go date someone else I'm, like, 'Have at it,' but I don't think he's going to."
Kat explained that houseguests get to know each other on a deep level in the Big Brother house but that experience doesn't compare to what can be learned in the real world.
"In the Big Brother house, I mean, you don't have to experience things like going to the grocery store together, paying bills, stresses of finances. So we're still, of course, getting to know each other outside of the house, but I really like him a lot."
Big Brother viewers were initially surprised to hear about Kat and Nick's relationship in the jury house because she and Nick, 27, had sparred while competing for the $500,000 grand prize on the CBS reality series.
While in the Big Brother house, Kat didn't appreciate or support Nick's gameplay, and she seemed to think he was manipulative and controlling. She told Nicole and Victor, in fact, she "could not stand" him.

Nick had also been in a romantic relationship with Isabella "Bella" Wang in the house, and he had expressed his love for her.
RELATED LINK: 'BIG BROTHER' SHOWMANCES NOWBut Bella broke up with Nick over Twitter while he was still inside the house because of his flirtatious actions. Due to how serious their relationship had been, however, Kat told Us Weekly in October she'd never disrespect Bella by kissing Nick on-camera.
"Of course it is a little bit of a controversial relationship because of all the Bella stuff and the fact that people were like, 'I thought you hated him in the house.' It's a very controversial relationship," Kat explained.
"People either ship us so hard and they want us to work or they hate us, but they're equally as passionate about it. So it's kind of funny."
Kat revealed that Nick had traveled to see her in Dallas, TX, and was actually sitting in the other room while she recorded the podcast.
In her October interview with Us, Kat opened up about the evolution of her relationship with Nick.
"He wiped my tears away when I was crying and calmed me down while I was stressed," Kat recalled to the magazine of their time together in the jury house.

"Our relationship... wasn't based on cheap sexual gratification -- it was an actual, genuine friendship."

After Big Brother wrapped its 21st season and Jackson Michie was crowned champion, Kat and Nick reportedly spent time together with their fellow cast members in Las Vegas, NV, in September.
Kat told Us in October the pair then spent a few days together in Los Angeles, CA, before Nick headed back home to New Jersey.
Based on their Instagram accounts, Nick and Kat continued spending a lot of time together, with Nick visiting Kat in Texas often and even accompanying her to important events as her date.
