Thursday night's episode began with host Julie Chen announcing the night would feature another special double eviction. Nicole was pissed and felt no one cared about how she felt. She said it made no sense for Head of Household Caleb Reynolds to target her when she wasn't a big physical threat and had no one in the house to work with.
Caleb then told his close ally Frankie Grande that the wheels in his head had been spinning because he thought about getting Frankie out next instead of Nicole. Caleb wanted to come clean with Frankie so that, in case anyone else told him about the plan that fell through, Frankie wouldn't have a reason not to trust him going forward. Caleb also told Frankie that Cody Calafiore was trying to keep Nicole around.
Frankie therefore assumed Cody was more responsible for the strategy of backdooring him than Derrick Levasseur, who was his "Team America" ally. Frankie assured Caleb they were tight and then discussed the issue with Derrick. Derrick explained to Frankie that Caleb thought about nominating him because he's a really strong competitor.
Derrick, however, claimed the move was never under serious consideration and it was just a result of paranoia. Frankie simply wasn't buying it and didn't like that Derrick was "playing stupid." Derrick told Cody about Frankie's suspicion, and Cody thought Caleb was playing the game "like an ass clown."
Derrick and Cody agreed Christine or Frankie needed to go next if either of them managed to win the next HoH competition. Derrick disliked Christine as a person and neither guy really trusted her.
The night's first eviction vote resulted in Nicole's elimination from the house. Via a 4-0 vote, Nicole was evicted instead of fellow nominee Victoria Rafaeli.
The next HoH competition then commenced and Caleb couldn't participate since he was the outgoing HoH. Derrick ended up winning the competition after only one round. Derrick's alliance wanted to put Victoria up on the chopping block, so he warned Victoria that would be happening but she wasn't his main target. Derrick told his "Detonators" alliance that losing Victoria would be a loss for them.
At the nomination ceremony, Derrick announced he was going with the house's wishes and therefore needed to nominate Victoria and Christine for eviction. He insisted his decision was "nothing personal."
Derrick's plan was that if neither nominee won the Power of Veto competition, Christine would be going home. If either girl actually won the PoV, Derrick intended to backdoor Frankie and put him up on the block as the replacement nominee.
Frankie ended up winning the Power of Veto competition. Derrick and Frankie celebrated about the fact they had just guaranteed themselves the Final 4 -- since Victoria would be the next easy vote. Frankie declined to use the veto in order to honor Derrick as HoH. In a 3-0 vote, Christine was evicted from the Big Brother house.
Christine was so angry that she left without saying goodbye to anybody. The crowd booed her noticeably on her way out of the house. In her post-eviction interview, Christine insisted she and Cody were just good buddies and she was disappointed he had betrayed her.

In addition, Julie revealed the next "BB Rewind" twist. A giant button was closed off in a room inside the Big Brother house, and if any houseguest pushed that button at any time, next week's live vote will stop live on the air. The two nominees will come off the block, the game will rewind, and the entire week will be replayed. The twist means that the two nominations for eviction could end up being the HoH.
