Big Brother evicted Nicole Franzel from the house during Thursday night's 23rd broadcast of the show's sixteenth season on CBS.

Nicole, a 21-year-old recent nursing graduate from Ubly, MI, was evicted from the Big Brother house instead of Donny Thompson, a 42-year-old school groundskeeper from Albemarle, NC, via a unanimous 6-0 vote.

Nicole felt very betrayed by the week's HoH, Christine Brecht, and admitted to Big Brother host Julie Chen in her live post-eviction interview that she no longer thought highly of her. However, Nicole noted it was a good move to make as a player.

Leading up to Nicole's eviction, Christine hoped "The Detonators" would keep her safe and continue to work with her since she threw her best friend Nicole on the chopping block. Nicole confronted Christine about the nomination, and Christine explained that many people warned her Nicole had been planning to make Caleb Reynolds throw the "Battle of the Block" competition and then backdoor her.

Christine also said that Zach Rance threatened to evict her unless she nominated Nicole because the two girls seemed like a dangerous alliance in the house. Nicole cried about the turn of events, and Victoria Rafaeli realized the girls would probably be evicted from the house one by one because of the guys.

Nicole tried to talk Christine into keeping her around, and although certain points seemed to register, Christine still decided she was the best option to evict. Nicole had argued that she'd be an asset to Christine going forward and, if she remained in the game, she'd continue to be Frankie Grande and Zach's biggest target.

Cody Calafiore appeared to be onboard with evicting Donny at one point, but Derrick Levasseur was hesitant to go through with it because Donny was a loyal "Team America" member.

Following Nicole's eviction, all the houseguests -- minus Christine, who as the outgoing HoH was deemed ineligible to participate -- competed in a zombie-themed Head of Household competition. In the end, Derrick and Frankie were crowned the two HoH's.

In addition, Julie revealed Jocasta Odom, Hayden Voss, Nicole, or next week's evicted houseguest will be given the opportunity to re-enter the Big Brother house and resume competing for the grand prize.
