As the network announced on last week's finale of Big Brother 18, the 12 new houseguests will also be joined by either Big Brother 18 houseguest Jozea Flores or Big Brother 17 housesguest Jason Roy based on the results on viewer voting which began on September 20.
Big Brother: Over the Top will be hosted by Julie Chen and begin streaming live on CBS All Access, CBS' subscription video on demand and live-streaming service, on Wednesday, September 28 at 10PM ET/PT.
While it will feature some traditional Big Brother elements such as Head of Household competitions, Power of Veto competitions and live evictions, Big Brother: Over the Top will stream every single day and feature major format changes -- including a Weekly Replay, Safety Ceremonies, and live Diary Room sessions.
In addition, instead of having a jury of previously evicted houseguests determine its winner, Big Brother: Over the Top will allow home viewers to vote and decide the competition's winner.
Big Brother: Over the Top's winner will receive $250,000, a smaller grand prize than the $500,000 given to winners of the regular televised editions of Big Brother.
The 12 new houseguests who will be competing on Big Brother: Over the Top are:
- Alex Willett, a 25-year-old animation designer from Dallas, TX
- Danielle Lickey, a 23-year-old pre-school teacher from Visalia, CA
- Justin Duncan, a 27-year-old seafood restaurant owner from New Orleans, LA
- Kryssie Ridolfi, a 31-year-old waitress from Schaumburg, IL
- Michael "Cornbread" Ligon, a 41-year-old tree removal company foreman from Augusta, GA
