Chelsie, a 27-year-old nonprofit director from Rancho Cucamonga, CA, won Head of Household and then decided to put Angela, a 50-year-old real estate agent from Long Beach, CA who currently resides in Syracuse, UT; Lisa, a 33-year-old celebrity chef from Los Angeles, CA; and Kenney, a 52-year-old former undercover cop from Boston, MA, on the chopping block.

Sunday night's Big Brother broadcast began on Day 10 of the game following Matt Hardeman's eviction through an 8-3 vote, which had aired during Thursday night's live episode.

The houseguests who had voted to evict Kenney instead were Leah Peters, Lisa Weintraub and Makensy Manbeck.

Angela Murray, the outgoing HoH of Week 1, laughed and boasted about how she was "on Cloud 9" after seeing Matt walk out the front door, but Makensy was shown crying. Kenney Kelley also lamented about how he had "a huge connection with that kid" and so Matt's departure was "tough" on him as well.

"I have to hit the reset button. Winning the next HoH is vital this week," Kenney explained in Big Brother's Diary Room.

"Matt was my No. 1 ally, and if I want to stay in the house, I have to control what happens this week and who the nominees are. Being from Boston, we're always resilient and we always come back from hard times, so HoH is my No. 1 priority."

Meanwhile, Kimo Apaka had a newfound confidence in the Big Brother game after his "AI Arena" victory.

And Tucker Des Lauriers was wondering who had cast the three votes for Matt to stay in the house. Tucker assumed Lisa, "a snake in the grass," was one of those votes, and so he wanted her gone.

Lisa did, in fact, vote for Matt to stay, but she apparently had no idea so much of the house was aligned together.

Makensy then revealed to the cameras how she was going to fight harder than ever before in the next Head of Household competition so she could seek revenge on Angela and hopefully send her packing.

"I want to make it right for Matt," Makensy shared with the Big Brother cameras.

While it was pretty clear Makensy and Matt had been allies, Lisa decided to run with the narrative that she had voted with the majority to get rid of Matt.

But Chelsie didn't believe Lisa at all and correctly guessed the three women who had sided with Matt on Thursday night's vote. T'kor Clottey also had a good feeling Leah, Lisa and Makensy were the girls who had voted on the wrong side of the house.

After Makensy and Leah cried about Matt's eviction in each other's arms, Makensy explained how she was going to stay loyal to her Big Brother alliance even though many of them had turned on Matt.

Makensy thought it would be best for her game to maintain numbers going forward, and Leah was on the same page. Both Makensy and Leah agreed, however, that the alliance was fake and those people couldn't be trusted.

In addition to Leah, Lisa and Matt, Makensy's "Barber Shop" alliance was also comprised of Brooklyn Rivera, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Cedric Hodges, Chelsie, and Rubina Bernabe.

It then became time for the Big Brother season's second Head of Household competition.

All of the Big Brother houseguests -- except for Angela, who, as the outgoing HoH, was deemed ineligible to compete -- participated in a game called "Animal Obsession."

The houseguests were shown a compilation of animal videos, and then they were asked a series of "True" or "False" questions based on the videos they had just seen. If a person answered correctly, he or she would stay in the competition. A wrong answer would result in elimination from the competition.

After four questions, the remaining houseguests would be shown another compilation of animal videos and would be asked new questions about that sequence. The last person remaining in the competition would become the next Head of Household.

Makensy wanted to win for Matt, but Chelsie wasn't sure if she wanted to win the title in order to keep blood off her hands this early in the Big Brother game. Cedric also planned to throw the competition to avoid burning bridges.

Brooklyn, Cam, Lisa, Makensy, Tucker, Rubina, Joseph Rodriguez, and Quinn Martin were all eliminated on the same question. Cedric and Kenney were then ousted on the same question. Kimo was then eliminated.

The Big Brother competition came down to Leah, Chelsie and T'kor gunning for victory.

Once Chelsie realized she was one of the Final 3 in the Big Brother competition, she chose to go for it.

In the end, Chelsie won Head of Household, and Angela hugged and congratulated her. Chelsie went from being a microchip mascot to the HoH, and she said she couldn't wait to see pictures of her dog.

Leah cried about the tough loss. She was disappointed to be in the Top 3 again without becoming No. 1.

"I'm not going to cause any fights. I'm going to clean up all of this blood, I'm going to take all of the blood, and then I'm going to put up three nominees," Chelsie explained to the Big Brother cameras.

Kenney wasn't aligned with Chelsie, and so he admitted he was a bit "down in the dumps" about the outcome of this competition. Makensy was also a little disappointed about the results.

Makensy liked Chelsie, but she didn't know what was going to happen. Makensy therefore acknowledged in the Diary Room how she'd use "America's Veto" power if she really needed to.

Chelsie then spoke to T'kor and Cam about how to proceed, and Cam pitched Lisa, Leah and Kenney as potential options. Cam thought Lisa would be "an easy out" and that Chelsie should go after already-vulnerable targets, which also included Angela.

Chelsie pointed out how Leah, Lisa and Makensy were on her radar due to their former connection with Matt.

Tucker asked Chelsie to go after Lisa because Lisa had been driving him "crazy" with her edible glitter, cooking competitions, wasted food, and strange kitchen workouts. Tucker simply called Lisa "a lot" and added, "She has got to go!"

After Kimo and Chelsie were shown having a conversation about religion and church that bonded them, Chelsie set out to expand her numbers. Chelsie spoke to Cam and Cedric -- her "core" group -- about convincing Brooklyn and Quinn to get onboard with them as a result.

While Quinn had already agreed to play in multiple alliances, he said he felt most comfortable trusting this new Chelsie alliance. Brooklyn was also excited to be invited into this new alliance, and she called their group "The Pentagon."

For Angela's part, she said she didn't want to beg and plead for her life in the Big Brother game.

"I don't want you to go home, but I also don't want to go against the house," Chelsie explained to Angela. "I'm just trying to play a smart game... Do you trust me?"

"I trust you," Angela replied, adding how she'd protect the people she cared about in the Big Brother house.

Angela told Chelsie that she'd ultimately respect her decision no matter what, but Angela explained how she'd be a shield as well as a number for Chelsie going forward. Angela said if Chelsie put her on the chopping block, she wouldn't go after her later.

"In my head, it's kind of obvious I need to put her up on the block. She pissed so many people off Week 1. It would almost be dumb of me not to put her up this week, but I want to make the best move for me personally," Chelsie shared in Big Brother's Diary Room.

Makensy then revealed to Chelsie that she had "America's Veto" superpower in her pocket. Makensy had the power to take someone off the chopping block, which would enable America to vote for the replacement nominee.

Chelsie was surprised Makensy had come clean about this, and so she considered nominating Makensy to burn the power.

Chelsie then discussed her options with her allies in the HoH room, and Quinn realized it wasn't the time to reveal his "Deepfake" upgrade power because his new allies would be frustrated with him that he didn't explain this earlier.

Chelsie also realized that if she targeted Makensy, that side of the house would come after her.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Chelsie announced she had decided to nominate easy targets Angela, Kenney and Lisa for eviction.

Chelsie told her nominations that it was nothing personal and she loved them all, and all three of the nominations were ready to fight to live another day in the Big Brother house.

"I'm nervous! I hope my nominations stay the same... [I don't want] to show my cards too early in this game," Chelsie explained in the Diary Room.
