Big Brother houseguest Corey Brooks won the Power of Veto and took himself off the chopping block, which resulted in the BB Roadkill winner naming a replacement nominee during Wednesday night's broadcast on CBS.

Because Corey had been Tiffany Rousso's nominee after she won the BB Roadkill competition, Tiffany could choose a houseguest to replace him, and that person was her former ally Da.Vonne Rogers.
The three houseguests on the chopping block going into Thursday night's live eviction episode are Tiffany, Da'Vonne and Natalie Negrotti. It's clear the majority of the house is targeting Tiffany.
The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 31 with Corey and his alliance thinking either Frank Eudy or Tiffany had won the prior BB Roadkill competition. Da'Vonne knew Tiffany had won it but decided to keep her mouth shut in order to not worsen her already-damaged relationship with Tiffany.
Meanwhile, Tiffany was conspiring and trying to gain allies. She told Frank, Bridgette Dunning and Jason Huling that Corey, this week's Head of Household Paulie Calafiore, Zakiyah Everette and Nicole Franzel were a tight foursome.

Frank then talked to Corey and tried to get him back on his side. Frank reminded Corey that never put Nicole up on the block and shared news with Corey of his BB Roadkill victories twice. Although Frank promised to have Corey's back, the nominee wasn't buying it and didn't trust Frank at all.
In attempt to do more damage control, Frank spoke to Da'Vonne privately, asking if they were on the same page. Da'Vonne said she'd do "whatever," but she was clearly checked out of the conversation. However, it didn't look that way to Paul Abrahamian, who then warned Paulie and Corey that Da'Vonne were having a sketchy conversation on the couch.
Paulie said that if Tiffany won the Power of Veto, Da'Vonne would go up in her place since he'd have the power to choose. Paulie's ideal scenario, however, was to ultimately keep the nominations the same and get rid of Tiffany.
Players were then picked for the PoV competition. In addition to the HoH Paulie and the week's nominees Tiffany, Natalie and Corey, Da'Vonne and Paul were also randomly selected to participate.
Tiffany said that if Da'Vonne won, it would be her chance to show her cards and prove her loyalty.

For the PoV competition, one houseguest was afforded the opportunity to challenge one player of his or her choice in an "ice cream battle." The players had to transfer giant scoops of ice cream in order to match an ice cream order shown to them first on a monitor. The first person to match the order in each battle moves on, while the loser is out of the competition.
Most of the house planned to keep challenging Tiffany until she was out. Corey started off by picking Tiffany in the first round, and he knocked her out immediately. In the very last round of the game, it was Paulie vs. Corey. Paulie wanted to throw the competition -- probably to make himself seem like less of a physical threat -- and then Corey won it.
Da'Vonne started to cry because she knew Tiffany had won the BB Roadkill and therefore assumed she'd be nominated for eviction. Tiffany didn't understand why Da'Vonne was so upset, because if she actually trusted Tiffany, she wouldn't be so worried about being targeted.
Afterward, Paulie confirmed with his alliance they needed to send Tiffany home. Corey just hoped Nicole wouldn't be his replacement nominee.
Da'Vonne then walked into a room where Tiffany was sitting and asked her what her strategy was. After Tiffany said she didn't know, Da'Vonne immediately left the room, which angered Tiffany. Tiffany called Da'Vonne "super sketch" because she thought they were working together again -- or at least friendly -- but clearly that wasn't the case.

Da'Vonne was somewhat rude to Tiffany because she was already convinced she was going up on the block since Tiffany needed a bigger target sitting next to her. However, if she had put on a good face for Tiffany, she'd probably escape a nomination.
Tiffany hoped to blow up everyone's game, so she told Frank about a Fatal 5 alliance she had made with Da'Vonne, Zakiyah, Nicole and Michelle. Tiffany explained that Da'Vonne was playing the whole house, as she had also been aligned with Paulie, Corey, Nicole, Zakiyah and Michelle.
Frank decided it might make sense to take Da'Vonne out and keep Tiffany around as an ally and someone he could really work with going forward.
At the PoV meeting, Corey decided to use the power on himself. The BB Roadkill winner then "secretly" picked Da'Vonne as the replacement nominee. Once Da'Vonne sat down, she cuddled close to Natalie and slapped her hair in Tiffany's face, blurting out that she was "pissed."
Paulie told the cameras that Tiffany wasn't going to get a second chance -- even with a good target like Da'Vonne on the block. Meanwhile, Paul was just looking forward to some drama because he noted both Tiffany and Da'Vonne were "explosive."

Da'Vonne also snapped in the Diary Room, saying Tiffany was just a "cheap knockoff" of her sister Vanessa Rousso, who competed on Season 17 of Big Brother.
