Big Brother evicted Isabella Wang from the house instead of Jack Matthews, leaving Bella's boyfriend Nick Maccarone in tears, during Thursday night's live Season 21 episode on CBS.

Big Brother's houseguests evicted Bella, a 22-year-old public health analyst from Mount Olive, NJ, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, instead of Jack, a 28-year-old fitness trainer from Chicago, IL, who currently resides in Tampa, FL, through an 8-2 vote under Cliff Hogg's Head of Household reign.

"It's so hard for me to trust people," Bella told Big Brother host Julie Chen in her post eviction interview, explaining why she had loose lips this season.
Bella apparently thought sharing intel with several people would make them want to work with her and trust her, but that plan backfired because everyone started to view her as sneaky and dishonest.

"That was just me being bad at the game," she joked. "But I feel so blessed to have been a part of BB21... I just really hope Nick and [Sam Smith] have a chance."
The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 34 with Bella and Jack on the chopping block.
Cliff was looking two or three weeks down the road, so he decided to nominate Bella for eviction instead of putting a pawn on the block against Jack, who thought his odds of staying were "looking pretty good."
But Nick thought Cliff's move was stupid, especially because he didn't even flush Christie Murphy's special "Diamond Power of Veto" power.
Jackson Michie said Bella was the target this week because the whole house had pretty much been burned by her at one point or another.

Cliff then told Nick the other side of the house had promised him safety for two weeks and that's why he made the move he did, but Nick insisted it didn't matter because the majority alliance was going to pick them off one by one.

Cliff just wasn't willing to break his word to Christie, and he didn't think Nick and Bella were on his path to victory.
Meanwhile, Nick and Bella were very upset because they both assumed she was going to be the person to go. Nick admitted he loved Bella and didn't know how he was going to get along in the house without her.
"I'm obsessed with you. I hope you win it," Bella told Nick in tears.

"I love you so much," he replied. "Having to play this game without you, it's going to be so hard."
Cliff had hope the strong alliance of six -- comprised of mostly couples -- would crack again at some point given they had already turned against Nick and Bella.
But the Six Shooters really liked Cliff and thought he was a loyal guy and a tough competitor, so Jack even mentioned bringing him into the alliance and working with him going forward.
Meanwhile, Holly Allen and Kathryn Dunn had become good friends and were shown bonding over their pageantry background. They promised each other a secret Final 2 deal, and Holly just hoped Kat wouldn't screw her over.
Cliff then explained to Bella he had nominated her for eviction because it became obvious Christie was going to use her power and the Six Shooters were going to nominate her anyway.

Bella didn't seem angry with Cliff. Instead, she worked to rally votes in her favor, knowing she already had Nick and Sam on her side. She just needed five votes to stay, so she only needed three more votes in order for Cliff to break the tie.

Bella thought she could get Nicole Anthony, and then Sam told Bella to work on Kat as well. Cliff insisted he'd save Bella if the vote came down to a tie, but he didn't really know what he was going to do.
Bella then spoke to Holly and Kat about how she'd serve as a shield for them next week considering she had stirred up so much drama in the beginning of the game. Bella there asked the girls to keep her safe because she'd be a bigger target than them.
Kat feared voting Jack out would be "really bad" for her game even though she wanted him out eventually because he could win Big Brother.
Bella hoped to secure Nick and Jessica Milagros' votes as well even though she had betrayed the girls earlier in the game and outed the Black Widows. Jessica didn't love or trust Bella, but the move made sense since Jack seemed to be running the house and was a huge threat and physical competitor.
Nicole could tell Bella was being genuine, and so this was the Bella she wanted to work with.
It then became time for the live eviction. Bella asked the house to consider how Jack was a bigger threat and there was a majority of people making the "dominant decisions" in this game.
"And that does not include Nick, Sam, Cliff, Jess, Nicole and Kat," Bella announced, adding that they'd all be picked off one by one.

Jack declared he's a team player and holds himself with integrity. He said he respected everyone's gameplay and just wanted each player to do what would be best for his or her game.

The following houseguests voted to evict Bella: Christie, Michie, Nicole, Kat, Jessica, Holly, Analyse Talavera, and Tommy Bracco.
But Nick voted to evict Jack along with Sam.
When Bella left the game, Nick was shown bawling his eyes out and being comforted by Sam in the house. Bella told Julie that she felt most betrayed by Christie and felt really bad about betraying Nicole earlier in the game.
Bella clearly had her regrets and said she had made mistakes, but she revealed Nick is a great guy and she was so thankful to have met him.
"I was so against being in a showmance. I was like, 'I'll never be in a showmance!' But then that plan just went out the window," Bella said with a laugh.
The season's next Head of Household competition dubbed "Pose In Ivy" then commenced.
The participating houseguests, minus Cliff -- who, as the outgoing HoH, was deemed ineligible to compete -- were required to hold on to their vines while being suspended in the air for as long as possible.

Two players would end up receiving a punishment for losing the competition.
Jessica and Nicole were the first two people to fall off their vines and drop out.
