Kyland, a 29-year-old account executive from San Bernardino County, CA who currently resides in Venice Beach, CA, decided to put Tiffany, a 40-year-old phlebotomist from Detroit, MI, and Hannah, a 21-year-old graduate student from Chicago, IL, on the chopping block heading into the next Power of Veto competition.

The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 65, with the six members of "The Cookout" alliance -- all of African American descent -- celebrating the fact they made it to Final 6 together and that a Black person will eventually win the game and $750,000.

"The Cookout" made history and was comprised of Kyland; Tiffany; Hannah; Xavier Prather, a 27-year-old attorney from Kalamazoo, MI; Azah Awasum, a 30-year-old director of sales operations from Baltimore, MD; and Derek Frazier, a 29-year-old safety officer from Philadelphia, PA.

Xavier acknowledged it's a win for everyone no matter who ends up sitting in the Final 2 chairs, but he was well aware the alliance now needed to turn on each other and battle it out for a spot in the finale.

Kyland, however, was upset and frustrated about having been placed on the chopping block next to Alyssa earlier in the week, and so Tiffany attempted to smooth things over so they wouldn't have any past issues moving forward in the game.

Kyland explained to Tiffany that her ploy to keep up "appearances" with Alyssa made it seem like Tiffany was prioritizing how she looked to Alyssa in order to secure her jury vote rather than Kyland's feelings in the moment.

Kyland and Tiffany were able to talk things out, but Tiffany was also worried about her allies viewing her as a selfish person, especially after her move to nominate Alyssa before Claire, who had been the alliance's main target.

Tiffany revealed to the cameras that she wanted Xavier out of the game next, and Xavier acknowledged he may have to take a shot at Tiffany first, knowing that when she talked about him not being a threat to her game, she was just buttering him up.

Hannah also did some damage control with Kyland, who wasn't planning on working with Hannah long-term regardless. Kyland said, "Game on," and Hannah was thrilled the Final 6 could finally begin playing the game with some real strategy.

Derek then told Xavier that he wanted Tiffany out of the game and he'd be willing to take the shot at her if Xavier wanted to throw him the next Head of Household competition.

"Let's get it cooking at this Cookout! Let's go baby!" Derek gushed about his plans.

Kyland then told Xavier that he'd vote to keep him in the game and he would appreciate Xavier doing the same for him. Kyland said he wanted to sit next to Xavier, arguably "the best player" in the game, for many reasons.

"I only want to go to the end with the best, and I think at this point, that's Xavier," Kyland shared in the Diary Room.

Xavier also said making this Final 2 deal with Kyland was good for his game and he believed he'd have a good chance at winning against his buddy.

It then became time for the next Head of Household competition, and it was a high stakes game considering the winner would send the first member of "The Cookout" home. Having power was more important than ever to this group.

On Day 62 of the game, Tiffany had made a Final 3 deal with Hannah and Kyland and called themselves "The Con Artists." And Hannah, whose No. 1 ally in the game is Tiffany, said she wanted Xavier gone.

For the HoH competition, Hannah, as the outgoing HoH, was deemed ineligible to compete.

The rest of the players were inside cages like chickens and were required to grab an egg and weave it through a wire maze before rolling it down a ramp in attempt to knock over one of three targets.

The first person to knock down all three targets would escape from his or her cage and be crowned the new HoH.

Xavier said he had thrown many competitions in the past but that wasn't going to happen again because now he needed to win.

Derek was the first to score and came very close to winning, but in the end, Kyland was crowned the season's next Head of Household -- and Derek, although "bummed," was good with it.

Derek just didn't want to skate by in the game, and he wished he could be a threat. Derek didn't know how he was going to win if he made it into a Final 2 chair.

"Being HoH again feels pretty good. Having three in one summer is pretty cool," Kyland gushed.

Kyland felt bad for Derek, but he pointed out how Big Brother is now an individual game.

Meanwhile, Tiffany and Xavier were both happy about Kyland winning HoH because anyone else would try to take them out. However, Xavier was hoping Kyland would nominate Tiffany and Hannah, and Tiffany was hoping Kyland would target Xavier and Derek.

Kyland told Xavier that his plan was to gun for Tiffany and Hannah, but then Tiffany reminded Kyland how she was committed to their Final 3 agreement.

Tiffany told Kyland that although she'd lose against him in the finale, she'd like to compete against him.

"If [Claire] doesn't convince everyone to vote for X, he still wins," Tiffany told Kyland.

Kyland recognized that Xavier had been a huge competitor in the game and anyone sitting next to him in the end would have an uphill battle, but he also pointed out how Tiffany would be "very difficult" to beat.

Hannah then assured Kyland -- an "information collector," according to Hannah -- that she would vote the way he wants if he kept her off the block.

Hannah said she needed Kyland's trust and was convinced she'd lose to Xavier in the end and so Xavier should be his target. Hannah also made a deal to take Kyland to the Final 3 for sure with Tiffany.

"Lines may have to be drawn," Kyland said in the Diary Room. "This is not a decision I take lightly."

Kyland didn't know which side to choose, and he predicted he was going to break some hearts, including his own.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Kyland announced he had decided to nominate Tiffany and Hannah for eviction, remaining loyal to Xavier.

"This decision has nothing to do with any sort of loss of respect or loss of love. It's simply a loss of trust," Kyland said.

"Chaddha, I believe you are the person most likely to use the Veto this week, so I have to make sure if you did, it would be on yourself."

Kyland was therefore prepared to send Tiffany home because he apparently didn't feel safe with her still in the game after she had broken his trust.
