Big Brother's houseguests evicted Scottie Salton through a unanimous 6-0 vote instead of Kaycee Clark during Thursday night's live Season 20 episode on CBS.

Scottie, a 26-year-old shipping manager from Illinois, Shorewood, IL, and Kaycee, a 30-year-old pro football player from California who currently resides in Arizona, an Diego, CA, who currently resides in Tempe, AZ, had been placed on the chopping block under Faysal Shafaat's Head of Household reign after Brett Robinson won the Power of Veto competition and removed himself from the block.

"I knew [throwing Haleigh Broucher under the bus] was a foolish thing to do. The plan was to have [Sam Bledsoe] pitch it so Faysal would be like, 'Oh, she's got to go up.' Because I believed I could have beaten Sam in a vote. So if she pitched it, she would be on the block next to me," Scottie told Big Brother host Julie Chen.
When asked about his position on the block given Faysal was his ally, Scottie reasoned, "Either Faysal is a moron or... I was his target the entire time, and if that happened, then kudos, I did not see it coming."

Scottie -- who became the third jury member this season along with Bayleigh Dayton and Angie "Rockstar" Lantry -- also admitted his feelings for Haleigh were real and he tried to fight them throughout the game.
The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 61, with Faysal trying to determine which player should be the replacement nominee.
Faysal then warned Haleigh that Scottie had thrown her under the bus by suggesting she should go up on the chopping block since she's "Kaitlyn 2.0."

Haleigh cried in a confessional, saying she had done nothing but defend Scottie and have his back. She didn't understand why her friend was doing this to her, and she couldn't emotionally deal with it.

Haleigh sought support from Kaycee, Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans. While Kaycee felt bad for Haleigh, it was "a cake walk for 'Level 6'" since her own ally had betrayed her and he's the one they wanted to evict.
Afterward, Scottie broke down and admitted to Haleigh he had thrown her under the bus to save himself because he had no better course of action. Scottie almost immediately regretted backstabbing Haleigh and felt knots in his stomach because she never would have betrayed him.
Scottie then approached Faysal in his HoH room to do some damage control, insisting he didn't want Haleigh to get nominated after all and the plan was stupid. Scottie also admitted he has feelings for Haleigh that tore him up.
Faysal couldn't believe Scottie confessed to having feelings for his love interest, so he noted Scottie just continued to dig his own grave.

Scottie suggested Faysal should put Sam on the chopping block as the replacement, and while the HoH liked the idea of getting rid of her "crazy ass," Scottie was still his target.
It then became time for the Veto Meeting, with Brett in charge.
In his speech, Scottie announced there was one person in the house playing everybody and no one could beat her in a jury vote -- Sam. Scottie told Faysal she had put his two best friends, Haleigh and [Kaitlyn Herman], on the block together and made him choose one.
Brett decided to use the Power of Veto on himself, which was predictable, and then Faysal decided to name Kaycee the replacement nominee because he didn't trust Scottie at all.
Kaycee was confident she'd be staying in the house because she had a strong alliance behind her. Meanwhile, Scottie gawked at Faysal's alleged stupidity, explaining that Sam had also pitched the idea of Haleigh going home and was probably his only chance to survive the eviction.

Faysal and Haleigh then approached Tyler and Angela about a Final 4 deal in which they'd work together to take out the floaters.

While Angela acknowledged she'd never betray Level 6 for Haleigh and Faysal, the pair agreed to the plan because it would be good for their gameplay in case Haleigh won the next Head of Household competition.
Tyler and Angela then discussed how the plan wouldn't be good if either of them won Head of Household. Angela agreed, "We shouldn't win," but then Tyler insisted they still needed to try.
With that being said, Tyler was pretty certain the whole house would be willing to target Sam.
Tyler was excited but also terrified to have a deal with every single person left in the house. One wrong move, and Tyler's social game could backfire and blow up in his face.
Tyler made a Final 2 pact with JC Mounduix, but his ideal Final 2 was with Kaycee because he thought he'd have a better shot at beating her. As far as his Final 4 goes, he'd like to have Angela in there as well.
Tyler then told Kaycee that he would lose the game before ever turning on her and taking a shot at her. She promised him the same loyalty in return.

It then became time for the live eviction, and Scottie apologized for acting immaturely and hurting those close to him.
Following Scottie's eviction through a 6-0 vote, the next Head of Household competition commenced.

Dubbed "Sweet Shot," the competition required the participating houseguests -- minus Faysal, whom as the outgoing HoH was deemed ineligible to compete -- to search through a "candy" ballpit to find a piece of candy with a token inside and then roll a ball down a conveyor belt.
The first houseguest to make a perfect shot by landing the ball in the red cup at the end would be the new Head of Household.
If a perfect shot could not be made, the ball would land in a slot from 1-40, and the person could choose to keep that score or throw it away and look for another token, hoping to get a perfect shot or a higher score.
In addition, the tokens were transferrable, meaning a player could pass a token to a friend. At the end of one hour, if no one scored a perfect shot, the houseguest with the highest score would be crowned champion.
[Spoiler Warning: Highlight the area below to find out who won the competition and is the new HoH].
The new Head of Household is Angela.
