Blake Horstmann appears to be in the lead for Becca Kufrin's heart heading into the men's hometown dates on The Bachelorette.

"My last one-on-one of the week with Blake was a long time coming. I remember being in his shoes last year and getting that very first one-on-one and wondering when my next date would be," Becca wrote in her People blog.

"It's a nerve-wracking, intense feeling watching others go on dates week after week, wishing it were you. I always felt so confident in Blake and our relationship, but this date was leading into hometowns -- so I wanted to be absolutely sure."
Becca shared that in addition to what viewers saw in the latest episode, she and the 28-year-old sales representative from Bailey, CO, also went horsebacking riding along the beach.
"And after our first meeting ever on After the Final Rose, I couldn't take anyone other than Blake, could I?! But the best part of our day was the beach party with the BAHA MEN!!!" Becca gushed.
"Now I have to say, I never knew Blake could dance like that! Apparently, he took swing-dancing lessons, and now I'm a firm believer that every man should. Fellas, take it from me -- ladies love it."

Becca admitted she has "never felt more alive" than she did on her date with Blake.
"Heading into that evening, I was ready to continue the connection we started from our very first date. I knew if what Blake was feeling for me was like what I was feeling for him, then that third rose was definitely going to be taken after the night," Becca confessed in her blog.
Over dinner, Blake opened up to Becca about how his mother had an affair with his English teacher and basketball coach while the suitor was in high school, around age 15.
Blake's parents therefore went through a divorce that sparked much gossip in his small hometown.

"To hear more about his family life and how difficult his parents' divorce had been for him tugged at my heartstrings. I'm glad to have made him feel comfortable and at ease to share that," Becca said.
The night concluded with Blake revealing to Becca that he was in love with her.
"When he told me that he loved me, I felt like my heart was about to leap right out of my chest. What he didn't know was I was starting to feel the same exact way about him," Becca shared.
The next The Bachelorette episode will feature Becca traveling to Blake's hometown and meeting his family. She will also enjoy a hometown date with Jason Tartick, Garrett Yrigoyen and Colton Underwood.
