Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will debut their highly anticipated duet on "The Voice" next week.
"Sooo.... I'm performing next week on @NBCTheVoice. I'm performing with @gwenstefani. We're performing a song off my album we wrote together!" he wrote.
"Go Ahead and Break My Heart" will appear on Shelton's forthcoming album, If I'm Honest, which is scheduled for release May 20. Stefani revealed the collaboration in April by sharing a photo of a mock-up for the record.
"[The duet] is very personal for us both because, you know, we obviously have this bond that is remarkable together," Shelton subsequently detailed. "I really think that it's as good of a song as I've ever written in my life."
"I am excited because I never in my wildest dreams thought I would write a song with that guy," Stefani later told E! News. "He's so talented. He's an amazing writer. Every time I collaborate with anyone I feel like it's the best thing I've ever done."Shelton and Stefani confirmed their relationship in November after splitting from their respective spouses, Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale, in months previous.
The pair initially met on "The Voice" in 2014.
