Blake Shelton has been named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2017.
"Y'all must be running out of people," the country star and "The Voice" coach joked to the publication about earning the title which was last given to Dwayne Johnson for 2016.
"Like, wow, we're down to somebody who is somewhat symmetrical," he continued.
He said his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, pushed him to embrace the distinction.
"She goes, 'Listen to me, you're going to regret this for the rest of your life if you don't take this gift and just live in the moment,'" Shelton said.
Shelton said he plans on using the title to bother his "The Voice" co-star Adam Levine who was voted Sexiest Man Alive in 2013.
"I can't wait to shove this up Adam's ass," the singer said. "As proud as I am and honored that you guys asked me, that's really the only thing I care about."
Shelton on Twitter has continued to joke about being selected using the hashtag, #donthatemebecauseimbeautiful.
"I have the hiccups... And they sound so sexy. #donthatemebecauseimbeautiful," he tweeted Tuesday.
