The Voice coach Blake Shelton is saying goodbye to the NBC reality singing competition after 23 seasons and nine team wins, and now he's revealed if he has any regrets.

The Voice's currently-airing season is going to be Blake's last, and the Season 23 finale airs Tuesday night at 9PM ET/PT on NBC.

Blake, who has starred on The Voice as a coach since the show debuted back in 2011, admitted the finale is "probably gonna be an emotional night" during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"I mean, my god, it's been 23 seasons, 12 years," Blake reflected.

"My friends, I've seen their kids literally grow up... It's unbelievable, all the life that's happened. I met my wife [Gwen Stefani] on there, you know, everything good that could come from something like that, I've maxed it out."

Blake insisted he's "excited" about this next chapter in his life with Gwen, whom he married on July 3, 2021 at Blake's ranch in Tishomingo, OK.

"I'm in a good place about this, you know? I don't have any regrets about it," the country singer noted.

Blake admitted he's "definitely going to miss" The Voice "at times" -- but that "it's time" to move on.

"I mean, my gosh, I saw a little blurb where somebody caught [fellow original Season 1 The Voice coach] Adam Levine going into a party, and they said, 'What do you think about Blake leaving?' And he turned around and said, 'It's about time,'" Blake shared with a laugh.

"He's right, it is about time," he agreed. "This has changed my life in a lot of ways, but it's time to let one of these new up-and-coming artists become a coach."

Next season, Gwen and country icon Reba McEntire will be serving as coaches alongside returning coaches Niall Horan and John Legend.

Many viewers are going to miss Blake, especially since his wife will be on the show, when The Voice returns this Fall with its 24th season.

But Blake told ET that he's looking forward to more time off and quality time with his family, including Gwen's three sons -- Kingston, 16, Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 9 -- from her previous marriage to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale.

"I want to finally have the opportunity to say 'yes' to more stuff in my personal life and not say, 'Let me check,' or just flat-out no," Blake explained.

While Blake still plans on touring here or there with his music, he elaborated, "The whole reason I'm even stepping away from The Voice is so I can just be there more, and that's what I'm gonna do."

The Voice's Season 23 finale on Tuesday night is going to feature five finalists competing for the title: D.Smooth, Gina Miles, Grace West, Noivas, and Sorelle.

Both Grace and Noivas are members of Blake's team.

"Both of these artists, I think either one of them could win the thing," Blake gushed of the singers. "Odds are on Grace because she's a country artist and country artists do so well on this show -- and she's the only one left."

"But NOIVAS," he continued, "I think people hear him and see him as country also. I told him, 'You're kind of the wild card.'"

Late last year, Gwen offered her perspective on why she believed Blake had chosen to step down from The Voice after being a part of the show for so long.

"I think that Blake, I don't know, I think he just wants more time, you know what I mean? I don't know if people realize [that] if he's doing two seasons a year -- and in between that, he's touring -- so he actually has two teams at the same time at a certain point, so they overlap," Gwen told Extra in November 2022.

"So it's a lot of brain power, it's a lot of time away from the family, those kinds of things."

She added, "I think he just got to a point where he just wants time at his ranch, like time to just do the other things that he loves to do."

Blake released a statement about his decision to leave The Voice in mid-October.

"I've been wrestling with this for a while and I've decided that it's time for me to step away from The Voice after Season 23," Blake said.

"This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me. It's been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best."

"It takes a lot of work, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!) to pull off a live show twice a week," he quipped.

Blake said in his statement he's developed "lifelong bonds" with The Voice host Carson Daly, who will be returning for Season 24, as well as contestants and other coaches over the years.
