Matthew Papish, an executive producer of "Blind Date," has signed a development deal with Classmates Online Inc., which owns the Classmates.com website for people looking to track down old classmates or colleagues. The partners are looking to develop a TV show based on the people who use the site.

"The TV show is going to be based on the reservoir of reunion stories that have come through Classmates.com over the past few years," Papish tells The Hollywood Reporter. "There is no disguising the fact that the Classmates brand is enormously viable."

The format of the show has yet to be determined. Michael Schutzler, president and CEO of Classmates Online, says it will include how-to information on reaching long-lost friends in addition to reunion stories. Papish says he's in discussions with a broadcast network about a series of specials based on the idea.
