"There are so many signs showing us that she will be okay in spite of what people are saying over the Internet. Krissy is fine as I sit here before you today," Leolah, the sister of singer Bobby Brown, told Atlanta's Fox affiliate in a sit-down interview on Tuesday.
Although Bobbi Kristina is definitely "still on life support," Leolah insisted doctors have actually said she is improving while being treated at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
"Yes ma'am [the doctors have]," Leolah noted matter-of-factly.
As for the "signs" that have given the Brown family optimism about Bobbi Kristina's fate, Leolah revealed only one.
"We know that she's opening her eyes. That's true. She's opening her eyes and there's a few more things that she's doing, but Krissy is doing well right now. She is," Leolah told the Fox affiliate.
Bobbi Kristina is the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston. Such news would comfort the Houston family as well.
Bobbi Kristina has been on life support for 11 days since she was found face down and unresponsive in her home's bathtub. She was found by her friend Max Lomas and given CPR by her longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon.
As the investigation continues, additional details have surfaced that lead officials to question whether Bobbi Kristina had been a victim of foul play prior to the bathtub incident. Gordon has a history of domestic violence and drugs were found in the home. Also, according to CNN, Bobbi Kristina was discovered with injuries to her face, including her mouth.
Today, February 11, marks the third anniversary of her mother Houston's death. After Houston passed, Bobbi Kristina, Gordon and several other family members starred on The Houstons: On Our Own, a reality series which aired on Lifetime in 2012.
