A month after Kathy Griffin herself had already announced that a second season of her My Life on the D-List reality series would begin filming in February, Bravo has confirmed that the show has been renewed and its new six-episode season will premiere sometime during Spring 2006.

According to Bravo, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List's new season will continue to "capture moments where Kathy lets her guard down, and show how she turns her pathos and vulnerability into her stand-up act." And despite the success of her show, the network assures everyone that Kathy is "still living the D-List dream, where perks and comps can be had but they must be preserved and aggressively pursued."
While Bravo's announcement is light any of the new season's specifics (likely because as previously disclosed by Kathy, the new season has yet to resume filming and this is, after all, an unscripted television program), the self-acknowledged reality TV fanatic, Celebrity Mole: Hawaii winner, and Average Joe hostess confirmed last month that although she had filed for divorce from husband Matthew Moline back in September, the couple is apparently in the process of reconciling and Matt is expected to be part of the new season.
"[We] are working on it. He will be a part of my Bravo show next season," Griffin had told The New York Post in a December story that centered on the E! network's decision to unceremoniously dump Griffin from its awards show coverage team (E! later announced that American Idol host Ryan Seacrest had signed a so not D-List $21 million three-year deal that will see him leading E!'s new awards coverage team, anchoring E! News, and developing new shows for the network.)
In addition to formally announcing the renewal of Griffin's show, Bravo also announced the upcoming return of another of its popular reality series -- hair stylist Jonathan Antin's Blow Out series. Premiering Tuesday, March 21 at 9PM ET/PT, Blow Out's seven-episode third season will follow Antin as he faces the possibility of opening a third salon, maintains the success of his line of hair care products, releases a new skin care line, engages in coast-to-coast appearances, and takes on his biggest adventure yet -- fatherhood.
