Bravo has announced it's developing Top Chef: Masters, a new Top Chef spinoff that will pit culinary professionals against one another in a series of weekly challenges.

Unlike Top Chef, which follows culinary amateurs competing against one another, Top Chef: Masters will instead cast "some of the brightest stars in the world of food, award-winning, widely-renowned chefs," according to Bravo's press release.  A network spokesperson was not immediately available to provide any additional details about Top Chef: Masters' format.

Top Chef: Masters represents the second Top Chef spinoff that Bravo currently has in the pipeline.

Last month the network ordered Top Chef Junior, which will follow a similar format to the regular culinary competition series but instead feature contestants most likely between the ages of 13- and 16-years-old.

Both Top Chef: Masters and Top Chef Junior will be produced by Top Chef producers Magical Elves and executive produced by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz.

In addition to Top Chef: Masters, Bravo confirmed that Top Chef's fifth season will film in New York and also announced it is currently slated to debut later this year.
