Production is currently underway and the show is slated to debut sometime next year.

Bravo began developing The Real Housewives of D.C. in May, and it will follow five women "who have their pulse on the most important cultural events, political galas, gallery openings and fundraisers in Washington society," according to the network.

Earlier this week, The Washington Post reported production crews were present at a party to honor some of D.C.'s best-dressed people and Washingtonian magazine publisher Cathy Merrill Williams appeared to out T.H.E. Artist Agency owner Lynda Erkiletian as a The Real Housewives of D.C. cast member while honoring her with an award.

While Bravo told The Post that "no casting decisions have been finalized," Mary Amons, wife of venture capitalist Rich Amons, and Michaele Salahi, wife of Fauquier County winery owner Tareq Salahi, also appear to be part of the show's cast and have had cameras in town at recent events, according to the newspaper.
