Bravo has announced it has ordered a pilot for Tabatha's Salon Takeover, the working title of a new reality series that will follow first-season Shear Genius contestant Tabatha Coffey's attempts to improve hair salons across America.

In addition, Coffey will introduce viewers to the different salon owners and employees and how they deal with Coffey taking over their beauty parlor and attempting to transform it into a success.
Bravo is currently casting salon owners interested in having their business featured in an episode of Tabatha's Salon Takeover, with more information available via the network's website.
Tabatha's Salon Takeover is being produced by Reveille -- the five-year-old production company that produced Shear Genius' first season and was founded by recently-appointed new NBC Entertainment and NBC Universal Television Studio co-chairman Ben Silverman -- with Mark Koops and Sarah-Jane Cohen serving as executive producers. (Bravo is owned by NBC Universal, the same parent company that also owns both NBC and NBC Universal Television Studio, its in-house production company.)
Coffey -- a 39-year-old who is originally from Surfers Paradise, Australia -- worked at Ridgewood, NJ's Industrie Hair Gurus before she was cast as one of 12 stylists featured on Shear Genius, a Project Runway and Top Chef-like reality competition series that pit hairstylists against one another to see who could create the most fashionable coiffure.
Shear Genius premiered last April and Anthony Morrison was revealed to be the grand-prize winner during the show's May finale broadcast. Coffey made it to the competiton's Final 6 but was one of two contestants eliminated during the show's sixth episode.
Last month, Bravo announced it has renewed Shear Genius for a second season.
