Bret Michaels is currently in stable condition and has also been talking and moving his limbs after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage late last week.

"He's still in the ICU, but he's stable," Michaels' representative told Us Weekly on Tuesday afternoon. "Doctors are seeing all the tests, hoping the worst is over."

Wally Sychak -- The Celebrity Apprentice star's father -- told Extra earlier on Tuesday that he spoke to his son over the telephone from his home in Pennsylvania while his son remains at an undisclosed Arizona hospital.

"The fact that he was talking to me, and giving me information, I thought that was great," Sychak told Extra.

"They say he's moving his arms and hands."

Sychak added he offered to fly to Arizona to be with Michaels -- however his son apparently declined the offer and told his dad to wait until he's well enough to visit him at his home.

"He sounded a little slow, but fine. He was talking, not as cheerful as he usually is. But I guess he is under sedation. But he understood what he was saying and knew me. Everything seemed good that way," Sychak told Extra, adding Michaels is doing "the best they could expect at this time.

"I understood that this was a terrible ordeal that he was going through. We're not getting information right now -- we haven't heard anything today or yesterday. So I guess no news is good news."

The 47-year-old former Rock of Love star -- who suffers from diabetes -- suffered the hemorrhage last week after complaining of severe headaches late Thursday night.
