Brie Bella has shared the story behind the birth of her newborn daughter Birdie and how she endured 21 hours of labor.
"I was in incredible pain," the "Total Divas" and "Total Bellas" star says of attempting to give birth to Birdie naturally for eight hours in a new video posted onto the Bella Twins YouTube page.
Bella says that after receiving an epidural she started to dilate before she launched into another seven hours of labor.
The former WWE star was forced to undergo an emergency c-section after experiencing complications and her epidural wearing off.
"I tell you what when Bryan and I heard that first cry after 21 hours of labor, he and I both started bawling crying," Bella said of hearing Birdie for the first time alongside her husband, Daniel Bryan, real name Bryan Danielson.
"Bryan was just, he was Superman," she continued.
"He literally was by my side the whole time. Never took a break, never left my side, he literally pushed through 21 hours with me and it was just incredible."
Bella gave birth to Birdie Joe Danielson earlier this month. The infant weighed in at 8 lbs., 10 oz., and measured 21 inches long.
In March, Bella explained the meaning behind the name Birdie Joe noting, "Joe, her middle name is after my grandfather--his name was Joseph, and he meant the world to me."

"Birdie is because my husband and his whole family are B's," she continued
"And he married me, a B too, so his one request was that our kids have B names. I didn't realize how hard it was to find girl B names, but we both came across Birdie and knew that was it!"
