Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas have reportedly been receiving death threats.

The threats allegedly began coming after the teen mom and her professional partner advanced to Dancing with the Stars' eleventh-season finale following last week's surprising elimination of Brandy Norwood and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, TMZ reported Monday.

Extra security was reportedly added to the Dancing with the Stars' set this week as a result, and ABC is allegedly considering having Palin and Ballas conduct their Good Morning America from inside the show's secure studio rather than outside in Times Square if they travel to New York after tonght's season finale.

In addition, Ballas' recent decision to stop posting on Twitter until Dancing with the Stars ends was sparked the show's producers belief that his messages could be "inciting people," according to TMZ.

"Taking a break from Twitter till the seasons over.. Thank you to all the supporters and fans. We love u. I'll be back soon..." Ballas wrote in a parting Twitter message on November 17.

The recent death threats have not been the only incident to spark concern on the Dancing with the Stars set.

On Friday, the FBI was called to the show's studio after a white powder that was later tentatively identified as talcum powder was reportedly found in the envelope of a fan letter addressed to Palin.  In addition to the powder, the envelope also reportedly contained threatening letter.

"Everyone is genuinely worried. This is a dance competition, and it's just gotten crazy," a source told TMZ.
