Bristol Palin is firing away at haters shortly after announcing her second pregnancy.

"So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me, and talk about me," Bristol wrote in a post titled "My Little Blessing" on her Patheos blog Sunday, less than 48 hours after publicly disclosing the news she's expecting again.

"None of us are perfect. I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a--holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned. Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn't go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on."

The 24-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin and two-time Dancing with the Stars contestant made her pregnancy announcement June 25, about a month after she and ex-fiance Sgt. Dakota Meyer -- a 26-year-old U.S. Marine veteran who had received the Medal of Honor in 2009 -- had called off their engagement. Bristol had taken everyone by surprise by cancelling the wedding just days before she was set to walk down the aisle and offering a very vague explanation.

"But I do not regret this baby," Bristol continued in her blog. "This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two."

Bristol already has a son, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, from a previous relationship with ex-fiance Levi Johnston. They welcomed Tripp in December 2008 when Bristol was only 18-years-old. She and Johnston had been engaged twice before officially calling it quits in 2010.

"Tripp is going to make the best big brother!!" Bristol wrote on Patheos. "Let's get another thing straight, because I cant tolerate all the talk on this subject. I have never been paid as an 'abstinence spokesperson.' I was employed by the great people at The Candie's Foundation."

Bristol then copied a description of The Candie's Foundation, which is displayed on their own website, within her blog post to clear up any confusion. The foundation states it's a non-profit organization that works to shape the way the youth in America think about the consequences of teen pregnancy and parenthood. The Candie's Foundation runs campaigns for awareness and encourages teens to delay pregnancy by learning the realities of teen parenthood.

"In other words, they are a teen pregnancy prevention non-profit and I worked for them when I was 18 and 19 -- when I could share first hand the challenges of being a teen mother," Bristol elaborated. "I know you remember me most from when Mom ran for Vice President. However, I'm not 17 anymore, I am 24. I've been employed at the same doctor's office for over six years now; I own a home; I have a well-rounded, beautiful son."

Bristol said when she realized she was pregnant, she knew she would be "completely crucified."

"But I never even thought of aborting this child, NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE. (Sorry to the ghouls at Gawker, who said this baby is an argument FOR abortion. Not happening.)" Bristol snapped. "I am pregnant. This is not the ideal situation, but life is important even if it's not in the most absolute ideal circumstance. This is more confirmation on what I've always stood for. I've always been pro-life and I am standing for life now. Deal with it."

When Bristol first revealed last week Tripp is going to have a sibling, she declined to mention whom the father is. She also provided no further details.

Bristol competed on the eleventh season of Dancing with the Stars back in 2010 and reached the finals with pro partner Mark Ballas, finishing in third place. In November 2010, she appeared on TLC's Sarah Palin's Alaska documentary.

Bristol then starred in Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp on Lifetime in Summer 2012. She most recently competed on Dancing with the Stars' Fall 2012 All-Stars edition. She was sent home in the fourth week of the fifteenth-season competition.
