Newly crowned Dancing with the Stars champion Brooke Burke apparently considers her victory to be a family affair -- at least when it comes to where she plans to store her newly acquired mirror ball trophy.

"It'll be rotating through the little girls' rooms at my house!" Burke told Us Weekly after Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars finale.
Burke's children had occasionally accompanied her to her practices with professional partner Derek Hough. At one point during the show, Burke had even used her youngest child's chest carrier to make sure that she and her partner Derek Hough had the right amount of space between them as they practiced one of their dances.
Burke's fiance, actor/singer David Charvet, also regularly supported her as he regularly attended Dancing with the Stars' live seventh-season episodes to cheer her on.
With the competition now completed, Burke thanked her family for their support and looked forward to spending more time at home.

"My family's really ready for me to come home," she told Us. "But they're also so happy because they sacrificed a lot and were so supportive. It really took a team to keep my four kids and the whole thing functioning while I was at rehearsal, so I really owe them a lot. Those tears were of joy and celebration and also relief that I'm coming home!"
As for her victory, Burke told Us that she and Hough had put their "heart and soul into [the competition], physically and emotionally" and called the outcome "unbelievable."
"It's amazing! It's been such an incredible experience, and this is huge," she added. "I'm at such a loss for words.
While some of the seventh-season contestants preparing to embark on a Dancing with the Stars tour, Burke told Us she was perfectly content with relaxing at home.
"I'm just going to take some much needed R&R and enjoy the holidays with my family," she said. "I don't know what's coming up next, just taking it one day at a time right now."
