TV Guide Online reports that, despite the best efforts of reporters to pry information from Fox executives, no information about Joe Millionaire 2 was released by the network during the recent press tour other than the fact that butler Paul Hogan would also appear in the sequel.

Fox chairman Sandy Grushow, who originally announced the sequel, told the audience that "nobody is trying to be deceptive. We just cannot afford to have [the secret twist] out there." Whether the secrecy is to keep the twist away from contestants, who might be fooled by it, or competitors, who might copy it and air it before Joe 2, is not known.
