Caitlyn's friend Jennifer Boylan asked Kris if Caitlyn's female transition makes her question herself at all since the couple was married for 23 years.
"No -- I don't know why, but it doesn't," Kris replied.
Boylan then asked Kris if she learned about Caitlyn's true identity "early on."
"No," Kris said, prompting an irritated Caitlyn to interject and say, "Oh, I did, too!"
"She keeps saying she told me but she didn't," Kris told the group. "What happened was a conversation in a driveway, he says to me: 'Do you ever want to have more kids?' And I said: 'Ugh, God no!' So he says: 'Neither do I, that's great -- and I couldn't have any more kids if I wanted to.'"
Kris recalled, "And I went: 'Wait, what?'"
Caitlyn appeared displeased as Kris offered up her version of the events that transpired many years ago.
"He goes: 'Oh, jeez, you know, back in the '80s, I messed around with this or that and it kind of screwed up my sperm count and you know, but whatever!' It could have been steroids for all I knew, because he was an athlete. He never said estrogen," Kris explained.
"He just said: 'I took some sh-t in the '80s.' I mean, whatever word. There was no: 'I am transgender.' It was: 'I took some stuff in the '80s, and my sperm isn't good.'"
Caitlyn then defended her own side of the story, insisting she was honest and truthful with his then-wife.
"I said I had a condition that I'd been dealing with forever. I said that I was on hormones and that's the reason it might be tough to get pregnant," Caitlyn argued.

Kris revealed a friend simply advised her to enjoy a bottle of wine and have "great sex."
"And we did," she admitted. "And we had [Kendall Jenner]. And then a minute later we had [Kylie Jenner]. But none of that was, 'I want to be a woman.'"
At this point in the discussion, Caitlyn still refused to give in.
"[I] certainly told [Kris] what was going on," she noted, before telling the cameras in a confessional, "My version of what happened at the beginning is obviously very different than her version."
The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Kris told Vanity Fair last year she knew Bruce liked to cross-dress and had taken hormones, but just last month, Caitlyn confessed she probably downplayed her feminine identity when speaking with Kris during their marriage, according to People.
