Caitlyn Jenner is walking away from her February fatal car crash pretty much scot-free.

The DA reportedly threw out the case after determining she hit the brakes belatedly but was not speeding upon rear-ending a Lexus, which then spun out of control and got struck by a Hummer, killing the female driver of the Lexus. Despite driving inattentively, Jenner's conduct was not found "unreasonable."
"We believed from the start that a thorough and objective investigation would clear Caitlyn of any criminal wrongdoing," Jenner's lawyer Blair Berk told TMZ.
"We are heartened the District Attorney has agreed that even a misdemeanor charge would not be appropriate. A traffic accident, however devastating and heartbreaking when a life is lost, is not necessarily a criminal matter."
Jenner's case has been under investigation for six months and the LA County Sheriff's Department finally submitted a report to the District Attorney that turned out to be 161 pages.
Had Jenner been charged with misdemeanor manslaughter, she could've been sentenced to a year in a county jail if convicted. Jenner told the Today show's Matt Lauer that spending time in a men's jail would be "the worst case scenario" and it's an enormous problem for transwomen nowadays.
