Caitlyn Jenner says not speaking to former stepdaughter Kim Kardashian is "a big loss" in her life.
The 67-year-old television personality discussed her estrangement from Kardashian and ex-wife Kris Jenner on Monday's episode of "Good Morning Britain" following the release of her tell-all memoir, "The Secrets of My Life."
"My kids, especially Kendall and Kylie, who I spend a lot of time with ... have been nothing but supportive," Jenner told host Piers Morgan. "But the Kardashian side, honestly, I really don't talk to them very often. So I just kind of deal with that."
"I went overboard to be nice, to be friendly, to be open, but also tell my story and my side of the story," she said of her memoir.
"Since the book came out, I never talked to Kris again. Kim, I haven't talked to in six, nine months, whatever it is."
"I love Kim. She's a great person. I have such respect for her as a mother, as a businessperson. But like Kris, she is very opinionated. But that's OK," the star qualified.
"It's a big loss in my life, not having her there anymore. To me, that's sad."
Jenner split from Kris, who is mom to Kardashian and five other children, in 2013 after 22 years of marriage.
Kardashian explained on the June 4 episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" that she lost respect for Jenner after she slammed Kris in "The Secrets of My Life," which was published in April after Jenner came out as transgender.

"To be honest with you, I really haven't talked to her in a long time," Jenner said of Kardashian on the Australian talk show Today in May. "I've kind of let everything calm down."
"This is my book about my opinions on things that had happened with me and my family. Anytime I express my opinion, you know, with my family, there's always challenges in doing that," she added.
