Cardi B's' single "Bodak Yellow" has reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart ahead of Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do."
Reaching No. 1 makes Cardi B the first female rapper in nearly 19 years to reach the top spot without the assistance of any other artist, Billboard reported.
The "Love & Hip Hop: New York" star is the second female rapper to accomplish the feat along with Lauryn Hill whose track "Doo Wop (That Thing)" reached No. 1 in November 1998.
Cardi B is also only the fifth female rapper ever to hit No. 1 following the likes of Lil Kim who appeared on "Lady Marmalade," Shawnna who appeared on Ludacris' "Stand Up" and Iggy Azlea with her hit "Fancy" featuring Charli XCX.
On Twitter, fellow female rappers including Nicki Minaj and Missy Elliott congratulated Cardi B on "Bodak Yellow's" success.
"Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement. Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it," Minaj tweeted.
"Congratulations @iamcardib for having a #1 record in the country that's not as easy as it seem this huge. May u have continued blessings," Elliott wrote.
Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" has now dropped to No. 3 on the Hot 100 chart after remaining on top for three weeks.
Coming in at No. 2 is Post Malone's "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage.
